❤️🍻❤️GoFundMe for Dave Wadley ❤️🍻❤️

Our friend Dave Wadley suffered a series of strokes in September. To help, Sean from The BeerMongers has set up a GoFundMe, which can be accessed via links in our Bio & Story.

As many of you know recovery from a stroke can take a lot of time and therapy. Dave was fortunate to receive great care at Providence hospital. He is stable and able to participate in his recovery and therapy. Dave will need time and support from his community to recover from these strokes.

Dave has been and continues to be an important part of so many communities in and around Portland. Dave has been an independent contractor, builder, and designer his whole life. He has helped create some of the great gathering spots in SE Portland, including , , and most recently .

Dave has been unable to get back to work. He is struggling to pay his medical bills. At the same time, his monthly expenses are piling up. Dave needs help to pay his medical debts and living expenses for the next several months, as he continues to recover from the lingering affects of his strokes.

By launching a GoFundMe in his name, we hope as a community to raise enough money to help Dave make up for his inability to get back to work. He needs help with housing expenses, medical expenses, food and transportation. We hope this financial support will allow Dave to focus on his recovery. Dave will need a lot of help getting back to the work he loves, creating inspiring spaces for community to develop.

Arrakis Spiced Ale: one of our favorite seasonal creations is back, an ale version of a spiced cider.

has three new draft-only releases including The Sparrow London Porter, Fogbow Imperial IPA & Middle Distance, a Rye Altbier brewed in collaboration with .

's Wassail is yet another stellar seasonal release with all the spices, plus the addition of maple syrup for a rich finish.

Congratulations to our friends & partners who won the third annual Fresh Hop Kumite, a blind battle of Fresh Hop West Coast IPAs, on Saturday!

We're a little more excited than usual for what's on the horizon this weekend as there are 3 big events you'll not wanna miss in Portland & Beaverton!

Yesterday the Day One sales team got the opportunity to visit and meet with their owners about their recent brewery expansion!

With the success they've found in their Vancouver taproom, along with and , it necessitated the addition of 4 20bbl fermentation tanks.

As a result, we'll be expecting to see more Irrelevant beer back in Oregon come mid-August. And if you've not checked out their gorgeous location, it's definitely worth a visit!
