We live in a world that seems to be obsessed with youth. The insights and wisdom of those of us who are aging is too often ignored, leaving seniors feeling passed over and left behind. The baby boomer generation is aging, the last of this generation will reach age 65 by 2030, it’s time to validate ourselves in a world that honors youth.

This workshop is designed to take the stress (and expensive effort) out of the aging process. We can’t avoid wrinkles, but we still can celebrate and demonstrate to ourselves and others, self-acceptance and validate our expertise, experience, and importance. This workshop helps identify us as role models who engage in self-acceptance, pride, and higher self-esteem as we clearly define our elegant aging self.

Long before Woloshin Communications came into being, I worked on films.

In 1983, I was working as a second assistant director for the background shots on the “Revenge of the Jedi” film.

At that time, movies required several layers of film edited together with “green screen.”

If you saw this film, you may have noticed it was no longer Revenge of the Jedi, having changed to Return of… instead.

I had a great time working on the film out in the redwood forests. This photo is of one of the Star Wars items I have collected over time.

Are you a Star Wars fan? I hope you will share your memories of the franchise or any favorite photo of yours that is at least 5 years old!
