Meet Peter Sedgwick, MD!

Dr. Sedgwick specializes in Family and Sports Medicine at our Yarmouth location, where he helps patients of all ages recover from injury and stay as active as possible. As a former competitive soccer player, distance runner, and long-distance triathlete, he knows firsthand the drive to get back in the game and brings that understanding to every visit.

Originally a teacher and outdoor educator before pursuing medicine, Dr. Sedgwick has worn many hats. He currently serves as Team Physician for Gould Academy, provides athletic coverage for Bowdoin College, and has been Medical Director for the Dempsey Challenge since 2009.

He and his wife (also an InterMed physician!) moved to Maine in 2003 and never looked back. When he's not in the office, you'll find him with his two daughters and golden retrievers blueberry picking, skiing, hiking, or heading up to camp. He's also climbed a 20,702-foot volcano in Ecuador, dove 130 feet at the Great Barrier Reef, and completed 10 consecutive Boston Marathons, but says raising his daughters here in Maine is the greatest adventure of all.

Meet Holly Knotowicz, MS, CCC-SLP!

Holly is a Speech Language Pathologist who specializes in feeding, dysphagia, and neurogenic disorders. She works with patients of all ages, helping them improve their quality of life through individualized, evidence-based care.

Her work is also deeply personal. Living with eosinophilic esophagitis herself, Holly understands the challenges her patients face and is passionate about helping others navigate eating and swallowing disorders with confidence.

Meet Caroline Foust-Wright, MD, MBA!

Dr. Foust-Wright specializes in Urogynecology and loves the balance of surgical care and long-term treatment that can meaningfully improve her patients’ quality of life. She takes pride in listening closely, understanding each patient’s goals, and tailoring care to their individual needs in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Originally from Oklahoma and now a longtime New Englander, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three kids, and two puppies. When she’s not chauffeuring her kids to activities or skiing, you might find her beekeeping, learning to bake bread, or taking pottery classes with a friend.
