Beautiful fall foliage showing its beauty in Portland OR. Its been along while since I’ve visited this city during fall season. Such a feast to my eyes!!! Though not a great fan of the rain, I do miss having seasons living in LA. Nice treat to bundle up and enjoy before heading back to the sunshine of Los Angeles. @ Portland, Oregon

Fall in Paris....simply breathtaking for all the senses. With the brisk air, along with a kaleidoscope of leaves changing and shedding its summer gains.... one can not help but fall a little more in love with this city. J’adore Au Paris! @ Jardin du Luxembourg

Doing something just for the sake of staying busy, doesn’t necessarily make one any more special or boost their importance. We have convinced ourselves, with the help of societal norms... to rest is being lazy. That one must stay busy to achieve anything. In actuality, inspired actions carry more weight than forced actions. The former being aligned with purpose, while the latter is more ego based luring most to feel guilt; the feeling of never enough.

We all define the word success subjectively through the eyes of self. And only each individual can speak for themselves. The only variance is whether it is based on spirit or ego.

“Success” for me, is hiking in the middle of the afternoon on what society calls a “work week” schedule. Where I have the freedom to choose when I want to connect and communicate with nature and Source. To be blessed with a whole mountain by myself. ✨🙏🦋🌼

I am a strong believer in taking risks, being in the moment. However, I have also learned the Universe sends us tests, to see if our intentions and wants are faithful. Sometimes, those opportunities or people who enter our lives, are just a deterrence from what is truly meant and waiting for us.

Nature shows us so many lessons in small and subtle ways. For me, these rocks represented that when our foundation is strong, grounded and stable... anything can be stacked on or against us; yet we will withstand it all. Also, nothing will come to us looking the exact same way. It’s our job to stay agile, open hearted and welcome it from where we’re currently standing. Trust and let be.

We often set boundaries for ourselves as a way of playing safe; not wanting to feel disappointed should it not come into fruition. Our friend/foe ego doing her usual dance. Recognize firstly, the feeling of disappointment is not from “failing” but from expectations. So go past your comfort zone, surrender to the moment and trust that if you gave birth to the thought .... then it is indeed possible.

We have a tendency to live in such a culture of comparisons and also of status. What we don’t realize by adopting this concept is that it gives the ego a stronger hold in our daily lives. The ego will fight with tenacity to be seen, heard, recognized and validated. And in doing this, it keeps our spirit in a constant state of anxiety, insecurity and fear. Fear of not being good enough, or that life will be better when we reach a certain stature. •

Power is within all with us as we are connected to Source and made in the image of Him. Don’t give your power away by thinking someone is better than you. Each of us are born with a gift to share with the Universe. Own your strength and internal fire.

We are all interconnected. From a drop of rain, to a blade of grass interlaced to the individual we crossed paths with momentarily in traffic. To think otherwise or less, is simply naive. The macrocosm may seem vast to the human perception, yet its far reaching potential is but a blink of an eye. When one truly takes this into heart, we start to understand how influential our “being” is. Children are the best example of this. They mirror then absorb everything heard, seen and experience which ultimately shapes their future and become their reality. *

Society tries to teach us to always be “doing”, thinking of the next best thing to make an impression to others. What one must understand is that in the act of “being”, we already carry considerable weight to the chain reaction of the Universe. Our Being, is the acceptance of one’s true God given gifts; embrace it and live it truthfully. Inspired action while in alignment over required action for the sake of feeding ego. *

Every cause has an effect in every single moment.

The birth of a pearl is somewhat of a miracle. The lustrous beauty is made by a grain of sand being rubbed inside of an oyster. To ease this irritant, the oyster begins to secrete a smooth, hard crystalline substance around this little irritant to protect itself. Layer upon layers of this substance is secreted until a wondrous pearl is created.

For some reason, these beautiful rock formations in Bondi Beach reminded me of such pearl. The constant beating of the ocean waves could have worn down the rocks. Perhaps smooth out its edges or breaking into smaller pieces. But instead, it found its own survival and a miraculous exquisiteness with her uniqueness was formed.

In our daily lives, challenges are bound to occur. We have a choice in those moments in how to respond. Stand hard still and stay grounded or go with the flow and allow new opportunities to take shape. Each has its benefits, neither being wrong. Perhaps just different results which leads to the next lesson.
