Hi, I’m Kris!
It’s been a beat since I’ve introduced myself, and we have lots of new faces around here! So here’s the 1 min story.

I have two daughters, currently eight and 11 years old and alongside them I have walked into my purpose. Like many other people, I came in the motherhood with a picture perfect version of reality that my life never looked like.

Being the eternal optimist that I am, I set out to create change. I discovered ways to understand the energetics of our family and intentionally created a new family culture - one that’s authentically us and feels amazing.

Most importantly, I took on the role of advocate, for my daughter’s wellness, which we discovered at a very young age needed support beyond what I knew how to provide at that time. Beside her I fought to understand the root cause of her challenges…all while learning to advocate for my own inner peace and wellbeing.

From this space Mindful Beginnings was born. I’m a born entrepreneur at heart, and this work fills my days with joy, inspiration and creativity!

Did you know you can tap for bad dreams? This works wonders to let the worry go and create calm before bed.

My little one and I have been tapping to let go of the worry of bad dreams for years!

Have you made it to a Mindful Beginnings workshop yet? This is your week!

Here’s a rundown of where I’ll be for the week ahead:
- Monday at Bar Method from 11-1
- Tuesday at Twist Yoga from 1:30-3:30
- Wednesday at Bar Method from 11-1
- Thursday at Twist Yoga from 1:30-3:30

Wonder if the workshops are for you? If you’re seeking mental wellness for your child, and long to give them tools to support their overall wellbeing, this is for you. In our 2 hour workshops we lean into science based mindfulness practices such as breathwork, meditation, gratitude and EFT tapping.

Most of all we have FUN! Kids leave with tools to use in real life, and they feel grounded and calm. What’s not to love about that?

Want to know my favorite type of breathwork? The extended exhale is the best!

How to do it? So simple, breathe out for longer than you inhale. So if you inhale for 3, exhale for 6.

Why? Extending your exhale calms your nervous system and brings you out of fight or flight and back into a state of calm. The best part is, the calm sets in quickly! A few extended exhales and you’ll feel refreshed in only a minute!
