SimWorks USA Making things for any spaces of in between.. Times are different now. We’ve realized that the reason is based on a lack of understanding through consumption.

Imagination & Creation of your life quality

Human beings have lost a lot of things so far which cannot be regained completely. Nature and society remind us how much we still don’t know about this world we exist and we’ve noticed that the same issue is happening in our bicycle world. In former days, there was a time when bicycles were locally built by hands and welded with carefully selected tubings and probably those bikes went to our own grandparents. After that, over the decades, Japan eventually became the most important place for bike manufacturing especially when people around the world started using bikes more recreationally. A center of manufacturing is located in other countries while companies in Japan receive their ideas and products massively without any hesitation. Has the Japanese bicycle industry lost not only their production power but imagination as well? Radically, a quite different market could be seen here in Japan if we tapped into our roots: we should've made products by our own hands, increased lines on communication, used the knowledge that we did have, and accepted what we had too much and not. Simworks has started taking an action to change the system against the trend of mass production. Our goal is to give our clients the highest quality of product! We think it is necessary in order to guide the next generation. This is what we stand for and this is our passion we’d like to share with you.

The Alex Pretti Unity Ride.
We ride together, We stand together.

On Saturday, January 31, more than 2,000 riders from Portland’s cycling community participated in a Memorial and Solidarity Ride for Alex Pretti- who was tragically gunned down by ICE officers in Minnesota last month.

This ride was organized by our friends and outstanding local great SimWorks dealer

While we wish that this kind of turnout was brought on by other circumstances, it was wonderful to see bike riders of all kinds, ages, abilities and backgrounds show up and show their solidarity for Alex, as well as demonstrate their opposition to the policies in place that were a catalyst for this senseless death.

Alex was a health care provider, a son, a brother, a friend, a member of the Minneapolis cycling community and a customer of our great SimWorks dealer

What happened to Alex should never have happened, but could have happened to many of us. Continuing to live in an environment where that’s a reality and a fear that we share, must change.

We believe in our bicycle community, and the potential we have to manifest positive change and to realize the kind of world we want to live in.

We have strength, solidarity, and a unified, amplified voice in our assembly. SimWorks rejects the idea that bicycles should not be “political”. Bicycles have always been instruments of personal empowerment, social equality, environmental progress, creativity, as well as health, wellness and societal good.

Thank you to all of you for your support.

【SimWorks Tubeless Setup】The Homage TLC × Standalone 001 Rim

I (Rie) have been riding tubeless and ended up having all of my bikes set up tubeless.

Last spring, SimWorks by Panaracer finally released The Homage TLC, and I immediately switched to a proper tubeless setup.

No more leaking air. No more swapping tubes when you get a flat.

If you want to install that kind of freedom onto your bike, the combination of SimWorks Standalone 001 Rims x SimWorks tubeless-ready tires is a highly recommended choice.

The Standalone 001 by features Stainless steel eyelets pressed into each spoke hole, delivering exceptional durability even under tough, aggressive riding conditions.

Some experienced wheel builders would tell you the same thing:
“If you want wheels that last, eyelets matter.”

To go tubeless, you’ll need:
• Tubeless-ready rims
• Tubeless-ready tires
• Tubeless valves
• Tubeless rim tape
• Sealant

Even within the same tubeless standards, compatibility can vary depending on rim/tire combinations and manufacturing tolerances. Sometimes things just don’t work, or sealant can spray everywhere. If you’re unsure, we strongly recommend working with a trusted bike shop, or learning the process thoroughly before trying it yourself.

Tubeless isn’t perfect, and it does come with trade-offs.
But for riders who value Ride comfort, Reduced weight, and a Smoother riding feel, it’s a setup worth choosing!

【New!】Dirty Filthy Bikepacking Boardgame by
We got a phone call out of the blue from Jody Barton saying, “I made a Bikepacking Board Game.”

Wait… what?

Steven and Jody had several phone conversations. While the Bikepacking Board Game itself caught our attention, we found ourselves even more drawn to Jody as an artist and storyteller, his humor, his perspective, and the way he lives and breathes bike culture.

We’re beyond stoked to announce that Dirty Filthy Bikepacking Board Game is now available from SimWorks USA.

Created by award-winning artist and writer Jody Barton, best known for his collaborations and illustration projects with Cargo, Cinelli, Unbound, Ass Savers, and countless alley cats and messenger championships, Dirty Filthy Bikepacking is the world’s first bikepacking-themed board game.

Designed with the help of his bikepacking friends, the game aims to “capture the fun, filth, and freaky times of bikepacking.”

Gather your friends, roll the dice, embrace the chaos. 🚲🎲

【New Release】Turtle63 for 26” - SimWorks by HONJO
We’re pleased to announce the addition of a new 26-inch model has been added to the 63mm wide Turtle 63 model.

The 26-inch Turtle 63 is compatible with tires up to 50mm wide. This fits the 1.95-inch (approximately 50mm) tires that were once widely used on mountain bikes, and for city riding with lots of stop-and-go traffic, this width is easier to start pedaling and more practical than many of today’s exceedingly wide footprints.

In recent years, MTB wheels have become larger in diameter for better off-road performance, but the traditional 26-inch wheel is still the most popular size worldwide and still offers reliable performance for daily use. Old MTBs and ATBs can also be maintained and customized to be enjoyed as pleasurable bikes to revive and enjoy for many years. SimWorks has continued to release 26-inch products for riders with pragmatic intentions and creativity.

The fender model from SimWorks by HONJO, with the tortoiseshell pattern, is called “Turtle.” The manufacturing process is kept secret, but it appears that rather than being molded into a single piece by machine, skilled craftsmen hammer the pattern in one by one. The hexagonal patterns that line up like a tortoiseshell not only create a mesmerizing geometric pattern, but also increase the strength of the material, giving the bike its strong presence.

【with SimWorks】Garrett’s Riv Atlantis
Our (my) favorite friend, Garrett Kautz started — Quality handmade goods — in Santa Cruz, CA in 2010. I first met Garrett in Santa Cruz a few years after he started Strawfoot. I’ve always loved everything he makes with waxed canvas, and I still use many of his pieces and always my favorites.

even collaborated with him in the past on a saddle bag and a musette. We were talking about how we’d love to make something together again someday.

When I was traveling through the Bay Area with the SimWorks van this past May for our pop-ups, I made a spontaneous stop in Santa Cruz, and we reunited for the first time in years. Garrett has always used a lot of SimWorks parts 🙏 and he even puts them on his wife Acacia’s too!

And what I especially want to recommend are Garrett’s insulated window covers for vans (and trucks!). Total game changer! I do the Van-life or Van-camp sometimes, and these covers are incredible. They’re insulated, they make the inside completely dark, keep the van warm, and turn the whole space super cozy. I sleep so well in the van even better than in my bed at home, hahaha (true).

Please check out his other products too.

【Only Black Small Restock】Still Crusin’ Bar - SimWorks by NITTO
The Still Cruisin’ Bar is a new masterpiece, featuring a bull-moose style handlebar and stem integrated into one piece, secured in place by two tubular segments of chromoly at the optimal angle and protrusion.

The original SimWorks Getaround CrMo Bar has a good vibration grip angle of 15° (according to our research), but for bikes with a 72° head angle commonly found on single-speed, commuter, and touring bikes, this bar’s skilled welding techniques have achieved a simple and elegant connection, with the stem extending at a right angle from the fork column.

Only the Black color has been restocked in a small quantity. We’re not sure when the next restock will be, so don’t miss it!

I recently switched to the Still Cruisin’ Bar, and it fits my riding style even better! (The last video🎥)

Material: CrMo Steel
Rise: 10mm
Backsweep: 20°
Width: 720mm
Grip Area: 180mm
Bar Diameter: 22.2mm
Steerer Diameter: 28.6mm (1-1/8”)
Steerer Clamp Height: 42mm
Reach: Designed for 85mm
Weight: 680g
Colors: Silver, Black
