Your nervous system is carrying more than you realize.

Before you overhaul everything, start here:

• Daily sunlight
• Smiling (yes, it matters)
• Speaking kindly to yourself
• Deep, slow breathing
• Time in nature
• People who lift you up
• Being kind to others
• Nourishing your body with whole plant foods
• Letting go of fear
• Gentle movement
• Forgiveness — for yourself and others

They are nervous system medicine.

Cancer is hard. Your body is working overtime.
Give yourself grace. Give yourself rest.

Healing isn’t just about doing more —
sometimes it’s about softening. 🤍

📩 Save this for the days your nervous system feels overwhelmed.
👉🏻And follow for grounded, whole-body healing support.

It took a cancer diagnosis to learn that :

🥓 Processed meat is classified as a Group 1 carcinogen (same classification category as to***co).
🥃 Alcohol is a Group 1 carcinogen.
🥩 Red meat is classified as a Group 2A carcinogen.
🌾 Glyphosate — heavily used on conventional wheat — has been classified as “probably carcinogenic”.
🍚 Arsenic, naturally present in rice (organic or not), is a known carcinogen.
💄 Endocrine-disrupting chemicals are found in everyday products like shampoo, makeup, lotion, laundry detergent, air fresheners, & perfume.

15 years in healthcare and I didn’t know any of these things. After being diagnosed with cancer, my doctors didn’t tell me any of this.

Education matters!
Your health matters!
🤔 When you know better, you can do better. This is why I became a holistic practitioner & functional nutritionist.

Getting a cancer diagnosis was one of the scariest experiences of my life.
If this is you right now, please know—you don’t have to do this alone. 🤍

You are not powerless.
There are concrete, supportive steps you can take to help your body through cancer recovery and healing.

• Step 1: Reduce toxic exposure
Start removing what your body is constantly fighting—chemicals, ultra-processed foods, synthetic fragrances, and environmental toxins where possible.

• Step 2: Support your body’s detox pathways
Gentle, consistent support through nutrition, hydration, liver support, and elimination—not harsh cleanses.

• Step 3: Strengthen immune resilience
Focus on nutrient density, adequate protein, micronutrients, sleep, and reducing chronic stress.

• Step 4: Use nutrition to shift the cellular environment
Support apoptosis, reduce oxidative stress, and improve cell signaling through intentional, nutrient-dense food choices.

• Step 5: Heal and support your gut
Your gut influences immunity, inflammation, hormone balance, and even treatment tolerance.

• Step 6: Get your mind right
Regulate your nervous system, process fear, release blame, and build safety in your body. Mindset matters more than you realize.

• Step 7: Balance your circadian rhythm
Light exposure, sleep timing, meals, and rest are powerful regulators of hormones and immune function.

• Step 8: Move your body—gently and consistently
Movement supports lymph flow, mood, metabolism, and resilience. More isn’t better—appropriate is.

This is not about doing everything at once.
It’s about creating safety, support, and a healing environment—one step at a time.

5 foods that help create an environment where cancer cannot thrive:

🍫 Cacao (unsweetened) → flavanols protect DNA + improve blood flow + lower inflammation

🟣 Purple potatoes → anthocyanins that reduce oxidative stress + support apoptosis

🍵 Matcha → EGCG helps decrease inflammation + disrupt abnormal cell signaling + improves immune cell function

🥦 Cruciferous vegetables → sulforaphane activates detox pathways + supports estrogen balance + promote apoptosis

🫐 Blueberries → powerful antioxidants that protect cells + improve immune surveillance

Cancer growth is supported by:
• chronic inflammation
• oxidative stress
• poor detoxification
• impaired cell signaling

These foods work by supporting the opposite.

Targeted nutrition heals and strengthens the terrain so your body can recover more effectively.

🥒 Save this for your next grocery trip.

5 foods I no longer eat after cancer—and why.

Not out of fear. Out of informed choice.

🥩 Processed meats
Classified as a Group 1 carcinogen—the same category as ci******es. This includes bacon, sausage, deli meats, hot dogs, and more.

📦 Ultra-processed foods
Linked to chronic inflammation, metabolic dysfunction, and increased cancer risk. These foods disrupt gut integrity and cellular signaling.

🛢️ Seed oils
Highly refined, easily oxidized, and rich in omega-6 fats, causing oxidative stress, and cell membrane damage—especially when heated.

🌾 Most wheat products
Glyphosate is a known carcinogen and endocrine disruptor. Even organic wheat may contain trace exposure due to cross-contamination and environmental drift.

🥛 Dairy (personal choice)
It increases gut inflammation and mucus production for me. Healing requires listening to your own body—if you’re having trouble with gut inflammation, you might want to trial a dairy elimination.

This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about creating an internal environment that supports healing, resilience, and long-term health.
