PEDIATRICS: CHILDREN AND DYSBIOSIS
As a doctor working with young children who struggle with eczema, constipation, and bloating, I often find that these symptoms are connected by a common root: gut dysbiosis. Dysbiosis is often driven by food sensitivities, allergies, or even hidden infections like H. pylori. A “quick fix” like Miralax doesn’t address underlying imbalances—and long-term use raises concerns. Instead, I recommend starting with completing a comprehensive stool test to assess the full picture: beneficial bacteria, pathogens, inflammation, and digestive function. At the same time, we would determine food sensitivities to identify potential triggers. With the right combination of natural antimicrobials, probiotics, and a gentle, anti-inflammatory diet, we can restore gut balance—and often see eczema and digestive symptoms improve dramatically. Healing truly starts in the gut.

OPTIMIZING VAGINAL HEALTH
-Dr. Karolina Pray, ND, DC
Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) and Candida overgrowth can be incredibly frustrating and persistent, especially when they keep recurring despite treatment. I often see women who’ve tried antibiotics or antifungals who achieve only temporary relief because the root cause isn’t always just the infection itself. Gut imbalance, hormonal shifts, stress, and even toxin exposure can all play a role. That’s why I recommend a more holistic approach: oral supports such as probiotics, caprylic acid, monolaurin, and antifungal herbs, along with vaginal suppositories made with boric acid, tea tree oil, or probiotic blends. These remedies help rebalance the microbiome both locally and systemically. Every woman’s body is different, and real healing often means going beyond the symptoms on the surface.

CHRONIC DISEASE - FIND THE CAUSE, HEAL THE ILLNESS
-Dr. Karolina Pray, ND, DC
As a doctor treating patients with chronic infections, I’ve seen how often reactivated Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) and other stealth pathogens are sometimes overlooked in the conventional medical model. Most standard tests only detect past exposure, missing the active or reactivated state that can drive fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, and even autoimmune symptoms. In my practice, I use more advanced immune markers and energetic testing to uncover the origins of illness. I also incorporate powerful natural therapies like Monolaurin, and antiviral botanicals such as Takuna, Baikal Skullcap, and Houttuyniato support the immune system. When we treat the root—not just the symptoms—healing becomes possible.

HISTAMINES - RELIEVING THE ITCH
-Dr. Karolina Pray, ND, DC
When itching from an insect bite becomes intense, there are several natural remedies that can help relieve discomfort and support the skin's healing. One of my favorite go-to options is the homeopathic remedy Apis mellifica 30c—especially helpful when bites are red, swollen, and burning or stinging. You can also apply cold compresses, witch hazel, or a dab of baking soda paste directly to the bite to reduce inflammation. Essential oils like lavender or tea tree oil (diluted) can soothe the skin and reduce the urge to scratch. Internally, quercetin or vitamin C may help calm the histamine response. Supporting your immune response with monolaurin or herbal tinctures is also important if you’re prone to intense reactions from insect bites. With the right support, your body can recover from insect bites naturally and with less discomfort.
