✨ The wait is finally over: TCC has officially arrived in Franklin County! ✨

TCC is proud to bring our complete wrap-around continuum of care directly to the heart of the central Ohio community! You heard that right, TCC is now serving Columbus and Central Ohio with behavioral healthcare for the entire family. With both outpatient and supportive housing available, we can help you start fresh!

We are so honored to finally be neighbors with our Central Ohio partners, and to provide vital support for those in need right here in Franklin County and the surrounding areas.

🏀 Nothing but net (and mustard)! 🌭

The TCC Client Events Committee had a blast hosting our annual Marsh Madness Basketball Bracket Championship! It was a day filled with high stakes, 90s rap throwbacks, and plenty of hot dogs and snacks to keep the energy up.

The competition was fierce as teams battled it out on the blacktop, all chasing that one shining moment: the championship trophy and bragging rights for the next 365 days. 🏆

🎉 A Legacy of Hope: Celebrating Two TCC Legends 🎉

The halls of The Counseling Center are filled with both joy and a little bit of sadness as we say a heartfelt "see you later" to two of our absolute OGs, Hugh Hall and Robin Tate. Both have officially entered retirement after decades of life-changing service.

🌟 Robin Tate
24 Years of Service | Started in 2002 Robin has been a cornerstone of TCC for nearly a quarter-century. Her dedication and heart have helped navigate countless individuals toward healing and a fresh start.

🌟 Hugh Hall
19 Years of Service | Started in 2007 For nearly two decades, Hugh has been a steady force of compassion, proving every day that recovery is possible and that every person is worth the effort.

Miracles & Second Chances

At TCC, we often say we believe in miracles and second chances. Hugh and Robin didn't just believe in that mission—they lived it. Between them, they have over 40 years of combined experience saving lives and restoring families. They are the true testament to what we stand for.

Hugh and Robin: You have more than earned this rest. Thank you for your tireless work, your wisdom, and your grit. We wish you both the happiest, most relaxing retirement!

🌟 Community Hero of the Week: Ms. Northwest! 🌟
We had the honor of welcoming Ms. Northwest to the Drop-In Center last week, and we are so incredibly grateful for her generosity. She stopped by to drop off a wonderful donation of essential items, including:

• Toothpaste & Soap
• Body Wash & Deodorant
• Combs
• Feminine care products

Ms. Northwest is truly dedicated to her mission of giving back to the community and supporting those who are less fortunate. Even more inspiring? She shared her future goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner—a career path that perfectly reflects her heart for helping others. 🩺❤️

🎉Celebrating Progress: The Mitchellace Building Re-Dedication! 🎉

Today was a monumental day for The Counseling Center! We gathered with our incredible staff, board members, and community partners to celebrate the re-dedication of the historic Mitchellace Building.

This project hasn't been without its twists and turns. We’ve had to pivot a few times, but it has always been our mission to push through to the finish line—and today, we celebrated turning that dream into a reality! 🛠️✨

🔍 What’s Next? The 3-Phase Plan

The ceremony showcased our three phases of development, which are projected to be completed over the next 3 years. Once finished, this revitalization will:

• 💼 Boost the Local Economy: Provide a direct revenue stream into the Scioto County economy.
• 📈 Create Jobs: Produce new, local employment opportunities.
• 🏢 Centralize Care: Help us reduce our real estate footprint and bring our wrap-around programs together under one roof.

This means better, more efficient care for the people we serve!
