Umelink specializes in developing various systems and devices that improve the quality of live for elders. The reality is that all industrial nations of the world are aging fast. In America the segment of population over age 65+ is growing rapidly due to the baby boomer born between 1946 right after WWII and 1964. the population is now reaching 65 years old starting in 2011 to 2029. Right now, in 2017, there are 50.4 million people aged 65+ and this number will grow to 90 million in 2050. That is a growth of 1.2 million people entering this age group ever year.
