Just found these pictures in my camera roll and felt the urge to make a post. Over a year ago my Pap was complaining about leg pain, specially in his calves and knees. I asked to see the inside of his shoes… To my horror, these were his insoles.

So many clients come in experiencing pain in their lower back, knees, feet. Their calves are tender, their shins ache. Everything from the lower back down is bothersome. I’m always curious about their shoes.

We don’t talk enough about how important foot care really is. You’re on your feet all day. Walking, standing, moving. They’re your foundation. Your posture starts at your feet. They need proper support. Please hear me when I say you do not need to spend $200 on a new pair of shoes. Just having a good pair of insoles can make a huge difference! You can find all kinds for $15–$30.

Clients who started using good supportive insoles in their everyday/work shoes often notice less pain and fewer “knots.” Take care of your feet. They quite literally support everything else. When your foundation is solid, the rest of your body can follow. For some people, foot care resolves a lot of their discomfort. For others, it may not fix everything, but I am willing to bet you’ll notice a difference after a few weeks!

I dare you to go check the insides of your shoes. If they’re potato chip thin and/or torn apart, it’s time for a new pair.

And please, please, please, do NOT let them get so bad to the point they are quite literally decomposing in your shoes 😅

A BIG Bobcat Congratulations to the Bachelor of Science Nursing class of 2028. Lainey Brandon, Alex Brocklehurst, Korynne Canter, Garrett Cobb, Taya Cooper, Dylan Davenport, Celia Demarchi, Morgan Denham, Kelsi Gillespie, Bayleigh Harman, Lainie Jackson, Grace May, Ella McFarland, Kaitlynn Merkel, Gavin Paisley, Shay Suto, and Nadia Tweedy received recognition at the OHIO Eastern White Coat Ceremony held on campus this evening.

This ceremony is a rite of passage that serves to welcome the Bachelor of Science nursing students to healthcare practice. During the ceremony students receive a symbolic white coat to designate the passage into the next phase of their nursing education.

Also, I don’t think I can take time off ever again. Maybe this was my karma for beating you guys up all the time…. but after one day of being back I felt like I was thrown through a wall, Lolol. Absolutely insane how 14 days off kills your stamina.

I will be out of commission for a minimum of 2 weeks due to an injury. I’m not sure how long I’ll officially be out. I should have more info next week when I see the orthopedic surgeon. I’ll be reaching out to reschedule upcoming appointments. I am so sorry!

Hi everyone! I know I’ve been absent in posting and have taken longer than usual to respond to everyone’s messages. I’ve been preparing for finals, which are this week. After this week is over my response time should be back to normal. Right now I’m just very overwhelmed and truly trying my best. Thank you for your continued support and understanding. I forgot to post these, lol.

I want to mention that I do NOT incorporate any of the rituals, mantras, or affirmations that were taught in this course!! If you’re booking in hopes of receiving a traditional Thai massage, please understand that I only use some of the stretching techniques I learned. I do not offer, nor do I practice anything else Thai related.

People often say you should never mention your religion in business, but I’ll never hide, isolate, or compromise my relationship with Jesus. I was actually hesitant to take these courses at first, but the stretching has been a huge benefit for many of my clients during sports massages. I’ve kept the helpful parts and left the rest behind.

Sorry for the long explanation for something simple, but I just wanted to make sure there’s no confusion or disappointment later on. I would hate for a client to come in expecting something I don’t offer / they can’t receive from me. I don’t want anyone to leave my room feeling bummed or like they missed out. I really strive on always open and transparent with all of you.
