It’s funny how time changes your perception of life, the perspective of experiences you’ve lived & the things you pursue. When I was in it I was struggling & the same could be said about life now it just 👀’s different.

Truth is nothing worth having comes easy.. it looks glamorous and beautiful when you’re outside looking in… you think it’s everything you’ve ever wanted and everything you’ll ever need until you have it! I’ll be fine until I just there. That 🥅 post has a funny way of moving on ya! If I were given unsolicited advice it would be to learn to be happy with the blessings of now. They tend to have short life expectancy!

Dont do that crazy advanced leg day you saw your favorite influencer doing on the gram or TikTok if you just started or started again. They started just like you will inevitably have to. With the fundamentals.
It’s ok if your workouts are simple in the early stages, or you’ve just returned from a lengthy break.

Dont put yourself in situations that trigger unproductive behavior. If we know it’s not good for us and conducive to our goals we are not obligated to participate. You can show up for your well being by saying no to things. It’d probably do you some good.

Don’t start with the mindset that the game will come to an abrupt end after 2,4,6 weeks have past and then I’ll go back to my old habits. Establish the mindset of mastering self discipline which you can then use to control the outcomes you rise to each day. A sustainable system or routine for nourishment from Whole Foods, Resistance training regularly. Get Plenty of steps in each day (activity) This is my lifestyle now until I leave.

20 years in the making…. Took me roughly a decade to turn Mostly because I had to learn a lot of lessons the hard way. The biggest misconception in fitness!
➡️ “lifting weights will make me bulky”

NO ONE gets bulky by accident!

1️⃣Most People spend years sometimes decades building their physique. If you’re intention is to be a good bodybuilder then plan on the journey taking that at minimum!

2️⃣ For those of you who want to just look, feel good, & have lasting quality of life a sound weight lifting program coupled with a quality meal plan is the best route for lasting results.

3️⃣You won’t be happy until you learn to be deliberate with your actions aka your HABITS… this will make lots of the people around you uncomfortable and flat out annoying a times. Build the right relationships and you’ll excel in the fitness game and outside of it to because that’s the mindset it produces.

4️⃣ execuses are like 🍑🍑🕳️’s - we’ve all got one. The longer you excuse yourself from accountability, from action, from actually putting one foot in front of the other no matter how hard it is… the harder it seems, and the more you wallow in your own 💩💩💩

Hello, I am competitive IFBB 212 Pro Bodybuilder Caleb Ctrain Blanchard, aka Colossal Cajun with over ten years of experience in the fitness industry! I am highly motivated and committed to a level of excellence both on and off stage. Personal trainer/ prep coach, father of three, husband, home maker (yes I do most of the cooking/cleaning/maintenance I have been a model, actor and so much more. I have a very unique stand point and approach to the fitness industry and the lifestyle. Most importantly I believe this process should be about growth. Not only in your physical state and well-being but also your mental and emotional well-being.. It’s a process that includes self-exploration and getting outside of comfort zones that you normally would not. My mission is to deliver you from where you are now in terms of these three elements to a much more educated, self-aware and productive version of your previous best. I am very much a mentor or life coach in most circumstances simply because most of us have lives going on outside of our fitness goals that we must build into and incorporate into this lifestyle. Rest assured very few people know and have had the firsthand experience that I do! I have worked shift work and 24 hour call in the oilfield, late night working security in the night clubs, construction and carpentry jobs that are hot and labor intensive, sales jobs with long hours no break rooms and demanding supervisors. There is a solution to every problem or obstacle and I am here to provide you with viable options as to how you can go about accomplishing your goals in a reasonable time frame without compromising any of the other priorities in life that surround your day to day routine. Obviously we all must make sacrifices in life so trust in knowing that there will be changes as this is a constant part of life, but they assuredly are the steps necessary to move you closer to your goals! Ctrain is here to ensure that you are always moving forward in the right direction!!!!
