In 2018, I studied pagoda structures and the curved roof gesture stayed with me. Years later, while sketching for a form with meaning and function, I kept returning to temple roofs and ritual altar tables. It felt right for a mundane object, something that can quietly shift how we experience a daily habit, pulling a tissue. - Naato

A timeline
The Oom (Ôm) means an indirect hug. We brought that perspective into a tissue clamp, because it’s like an hourglass that holds your moments: joy and sorrow, care and mistakes. And when the stack runs out, it reminds us this object has been present through it all, staying by your side, without needing to hold you.
