It was hard work to close down but great to see so many of our customers and friends in the last month. Anyway, kind of sad to see everything torn down!! We reflect on the last four years running Matthews Place with great gratitude for the inspiring opportunity to meet so many amazing families overcoming and embracing challenges. Y’all are awesome!!

Thanks for everyones nice comments as we prepare to close up. Its been a great experience getting to meet and serve so many awesome families.

Here is a list of all our stuff that is still for sale.
If you are interested in anything, please text us what you want to make sure its not already held. 435-731-7224
If we confirm availability, please send a venmo payment so we can hold/reserve items.
Items will be available for pickup on Friday March 21 and need to be picked up on that day.

Anything not reserved will be sold first come/first serve on the 21st on site.

After four great years serving our community we have decided to close down our sensory gym.

We have enjoyed getting to know so many inspiring families and thank all our clients for visiting our play area over the years.

We have limited additional reservations open until March 15th.

Come see our new scarf cannon! Its awesome and a lot of fun.

Additional reservation spots open! We have made a few changes to our play space -

- we are now only offering 50 minute play time reservations, we are no longer taking the 1:45 double session party reservations.

- we no longer have our back room available for play due to some changes in our space utilization.

We look forward to seeing you again soon!!

Thank you to all the Matthews Place families that we have met over the years! We appreciate your patronage and hope you enjoy being here in our safe play space.

For this summer we are actively looking for groups that would like to schedule repeat weekly daytime activities. Can you help us spread the word?

Hoping to find weekday groups like moms groups, game groups, day cares, summer programs, rec groups, homeschool groups, movement classes, dance classes, etc. for weekday repeat activities. Please reach out if you have a group that might like to make regular play trips to Matthews Place and we can discuss.

Join us!!!

We are looking for 2-3 individuals age 18-25 in the Provo area (or willing to come to the Provo area) to join a small dance class tailored to young adults with special needs. The only requirements are:

- a commmitment from the individuals and caregivers to attend (small class size so we will need everyone to follow through)
- a love of moving to music

Please contact us if interested or if you have any questions. If you know someone that might enjoy this please share!

Class size will be small and highly individualized to make sure we have a great time! Dates/times to be arranged with the group targeting either Wednesday afternoons or Saturdays.

Its finally starting to warm up......the other day we were at the park just running around greeting other families and kids. We are so grateful to live in a place where "most" people welcome our "no sense of personal space" ASD son (yes, we are trying to work on it & no, we are making no progress)! And to those few folks last weekend that didn't embrace him because renting a pavilion apparently means owning a private park and controlling the common spaces......well.....momma says "if you cant say something nice don't say anything at all". So I wont say nuthin.......

If your kids have a hard time in public social spaces (park, rec center, etc) and you need a caregiver break from that special stress that only those of us that are caregivers understand, that is literally why Matthews Place is in business! Matthews Place is a small, private, for-rent play space for family play time; where you will not come across any intolerant people. Your kids will have fun.......and the caregivers can relax. When you make a reservation at Matthews Place, your group is the ONLY group in the entire space.
