It’s a step in the right direction. We need more variety in grocery stores. Pueblo’s growth has been needing a Sprouts and hopefully next a Trader Joe’s. We deserve all the diversity that other cities have in the store area. This also helps our sister communities that come to our community to shop. Our city is already so blessed with local farms and local food businesses, this will help during the seasons our local farmers are closed.

There is positive and negative in all things and to be frank there is always something to 🐝 about. So let us see this as a win for proud growing Pueblo and Pueblo West Community

SPROUTS FARMER’S MARKET HEADING TO PUEBLO WEST - By Jenny Paulson - The Pueblo West Metro Board of Directors unanimously voted to approve the sale of five parcels of land for the building of Sprouts Farmers Market, a fast growing grocery store chain.

Planning is in the later stages but there’s no known estimated opening date, as final approval of building plans and any issues must be resolved.

Pueblo West will be the 35th natural and organic food store in Colorado, if plans move forward. It will be located on the corner of McColloch Blvd and Highway 50, across from Taco Bell and Shell in the now vacant field.
