Russell O'Neal, an old friend and a member of Puxico high school class of 1964, passed on 28 December. He was a veteran of the U S Army. Rest in Peace.

Christmas 2025. Post Chaplain Wally delivered Christmas stockings along with board games and blankets, from the Wake Foundation, to the St James Veterans Home. The red tactical stocking is the type given to each veteran, in branch colors. We had OD, blue, black, tan, and camo. About 1700 stockings were filled with Christmas gifts, for the State Veterans Homes, and other private nursing homes.

The VFW marks the 84th anniversary of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, honoring the 2,403 fallen service members and the resolve of the "Greatest Generation."
