The Reiki practitioner doesn’t cause the healing, nor are they the source of that healing energy; they’re a channel for the energy. How I found Reiki: My first experience with energy work was with my son. He was nervous about a wrestling match with an opponent that he lost a previous match with. As he waited for his match, I envisioned him winning, and I even went on to sending him energy that he can feel his divine power and strength. My son won that match within the first minute with a pin. But, that's not all after the fight and we were home my son said "Mom, I don't know what came over me. This was the moment I realized my power. A couple months later a family trip to Barnes and Noble a small book about Reiki caught my eye and it spoke of "Healing Hands", universal energy, and attunement. From there I would find a Reiki Master in Seattle and I am now a Level II Reiki Practitioner and have been for over a year now.

February 28 – Six Planet Alignment After Sunset! 🌌

Mark your calendars! On February 28, a beautiful six-planet alignment will decorate the evening sky just after sunset.

Planets including Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and in some locations even Uranus (with binoculars) will appear lined up along the same path in the sky.
While they aren’t perfectly straight in space, from Earth they’ll look like a rare “planet parade” stretching across the horizon.

• Head outside shortly after sunset.
• Find a clear western horizon away from city lights.
• Give your eyes a few minutes to adjust.

What is Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."

A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.
