I haven't posted here in a while. The updates are that the infection is under control for now, but it keeps coming back. I've spoken with my care team about it, and the ideal solution is to replace the LVAD and keep my sugar levels under control. 😑 I'm waiting for the surgery date to be set, which can't happen until my sugar levels and A1C are stable.
