What a joy to collaborate with my med school classmate and friend for 33 years, the extraordinarily talented Diane Chiu MD, board certified Dermatologist and founder of Bellevue Cosmetic and Laser.

We have pioneered a new approach to address midface revolumization in patients with incomplete blink and lagophthalmos.

Our beautiful young patient noticed DryEyes after a successful 80 pound weight loss (congratulations on your hard work!). Examination revealed mid face volume loss, incomplete blink and Lagophthalmos along with masseter overaction due to Bruxism . She reports very dry eyes in the middle of the night and at the end of the day.

After midface and tear trough treatment she noticed improved comfort and less light leak upon closing her eyes!

A holistic examination and approach to patients with incomplete blink and lagophthalmos includes looking for the Jumping Orbicularis Sign and symptom relief with manual midface support.

11 years later 🗓⏳👣 My DryEye success story.

I used to rely on hats and silicone-sealed sunglasses for everyday activities. And, yes, I even wore swim goggles on planes!

Fast-forward to today - thanks to cutting-edge tech and DryEye innovations, my eyes are mostly comfortable, and I can function at a higher level.

I'm honored to contribute to these innovations for fellow dry eye sufferers worldwide. ONWARD!!.

Accelerate NYC is a wrap!

Great news for patients! Doctors turned out in numbers to learn more about the OptiLight, OptiLift and TriLift technologies for helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful eyes!

The doctors were impressed with our independent blink quantification data. We developed a customized computer program to quantify the improvements in blink mechanics we achieve with TriLift and OptiLift for our DryEye/MGD patients.
