🎉🎉. Finished and loving the final result. This was the most fun bag to make of all in this pattern package.

Sewing tubes and flipping them right side out can be tedious without the right tools. Back when I made shoelaces I have to use the tube and wooden sticks. They make the process much easier and if your involves turning tubes, then you might want to get this.

Part 2: When you cut corners while sewing, you pay for it down the road. Cutting the notches is key to sewing the pattern pieces correctly.

Week five was so much fun. Not only are my sewing skills improving, I am also getting better at editing my videos and not as shy on camera. I’ve split this process into 4 parts. Can’t wait for you all to see the final product.

Back at it again 🤗. Making the long strap shoulder bag. I haven’t chosen the material I will make this one out of yet, but I’m going to be intentional about pattern placement because the more I create the better the items will be and that includes those small decisions along the way.

I had so much fun with this bag. From the fabric to the intentional pattern placement. I made the scrap longer in case I wanted to use the bag myself.

This challenge is fun and pushing me to make more.

Today I started work on this week’s challenge. I love how this whole process is basically problem solving. Placement of the pattern is going to be intentional and important tomorrow. Can’t wait to continue.
