Logan County EMS is excited to announce another round of EMT and AEMT classes starting in March!!

If you've ever thought about starting a career in emergency medical services or advancing your current certificate, this is your chance. You don't have to work for Logan County EMS. The classes can either be done in person, via Zoom, or a combination of both to fit your life (and your location). Labs are in Oakley, but arrangements may be made to do labs at your home site with approval. Previous classes have been done in Commanche Co., and Thomas Co. just to name a couple.

Thank You to Gove County Community Foundation and Gove County

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Gove County Community Foundation and Gove County for their generous support. This past year, we applied for a grant to assist in the purchase of the LUCAS device, a critical tool for enhancing our emergency response capabilities.

Thanks to your support, we were able to reach our funding goal and successfully purchase the device. In March of this year, we were loaned a demo unit, which allowed us to train with the equipment and evaluate its effectiveness. This hands-on experience confirmed that the LUCAS device is a valuable asset for our service and the community we serve.

We are deeply grateful for your investment in the health and safety of our county.

Quinter Ambulance Service will be hosting an EMT class this fall,starting on August 14th, lasting about 6 months. Class will be 2 evenings a week and 1 Saturday a month at the ambulance station. We would love for you to be part of our team. Please contact Mike (913) 238-2952
We are needing around 6 technicians to complete our team! No prior experience is needed or schooling needed in advance. This class is paid for by a grant, so there will be no expense to the student.

Quinter Ambulance Service relies on dedicated volunteers to provide top-notch care to our community. To meet state requirements, we need 2 licensed technicians on every call, and we strive to have 3 on call at all times. With 13 active members covering 504 hours of on-call time weekly, we're calling on more volunteers to join our team!
