Quinton Manor is currently searching for a Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse to add to a professional nursing team providing the highest quality of care achievable to our residents. The Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible to supervise, provide, and coordinate nursing care in compliance with facility policies and procedures and to assess residents’ care needs and take appropriate action.
Must be able to:
- Follow established standards of nursing practice and implement facility policies and procedures.
- Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to the Director of Nursing.
- Provide supervision to the Nursing Assistants providing direct resident care.
- Administer and document direct resident care, medications and treatment per physicians’ orders and accurately record all care provided.
- Competently perform basic nursing skills
- Assist with resident’s calls for assistance.
- Be responsible for the safety of all residents under care.
- Come to work as scheduled and consistently present an appropriate professional appearance.
- Follow resident rights while in the facility.
