I cried in my car before work because I didn’t know how I was going to pay my bills. I hung up on bill collectors. I took a 3-hour bus ride every single day because that’s all I could afford. I did everything “right” and it still wasn’t working.

But I refused to let my kids grow up the way I did. So I built a business on my lunch breaks, my weekends, my late nights. No plan B. No safety net. Just a decision that I was never going back to broke.
Now I’ve had 4 back-to-back million dollar years. I paid off 6 figures of debt. I healed my body. I bought property. And I’m building a movement for women of color to do the same.
The hardest part is over. And yours can be too.
