Spring Equinox Yoga + Sound Bath 🌸

Celebrate the new season with an outdoor morning of movement, breath, and sound at Fred Fletcher Park.

We’ll begin with a feel-good vinyasa flow + breathwork led by Rachael of High Vibe Yogi, followed by a deeply restorative sound bath with Liz from Vibrant Zen.

All levels welcome. Bring a yoga mat, water, and anything that helps you relax (blanket, pillow, blocks).

𝟭. 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
More instruments doesn’t mean a deeper experience. Playing too many sounds or transitioning constantly can overwhelm the nervous system. Sometimes the most powerful part of the session is the silence between the sounds.

𝟮. 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀
A few housekeeping notes are helpful: releasing expectations, permission to use the restroom, how the space will be held. I also love including a short guided meditation or breathing sequence. But remember, people signed up for a sound bath. Keeping this section around 5 minutes helps everyone settle into the experience more easily.

𝟯. 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴
Every person experiences sound differently. The role of the facilitator is to hold a grounded, supportive space, not control the depth of someone’s process. Nervous system state, readiness, and perception all play a role in what unfolds.

𝟰. 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲
Every facilitator has their own energy, message, and way of guiding. That uniqueness is part of the magic. Instead of trying to replicate someone else’s style, spend time getting clear on your mission and your method.

Each experience is an opportunity to refine your craft. Preparation and intention set the foundation, and every session teaches you something new. Growth as a practitioner happens through practice, reflection, and trust in the process.
