REGISTRATION OPENING SOON!!!

November 3, 2025 @ 6:00pm we will be holding a interest meeting for the 2026 4-H Meat Goat Project.

This meeting will be a strictly informative meeting to give parents and participants an overview of the program and the requirements.

Lots of representation from Sampson County 4-H at the North Carolina State Fair.

Thursday-Friday youth showed in both the Junior Market Wether and Junior Commercial Doe shows. Lots of ribbons earned by all! Congratulations to all who participated!

Sunday and Monday were the Junior Beef shows. Participants participated in showmanship and breed classes. Once again, lots of ribbons were earned by youth in the show ring.

Other entries included Magdalene and Matilda Parker who submitted artwork in the 4-H Division at the Fair. Congratulations to both on all their blue ribbons and special congratulations to Matilda for earning BEST IN SHOW in the Junior Division!

Recently, North Carolina 4-H held it annual 4-H Eggcellent Egg contest. Youth who participated in the contest learned about the poultry industry and what it takes to make the perfect egg.
