My house is a safe zone. Coffee can be on in minutes, I can pour us some glasses of whatever, or I can run out and get ice cream. My kitchen table is a place of peace and non-judgment. Anyone who needs to chat is welcome anytime. We can pray, talk, share a laugh or two, or just listen. It's no good suffering in silence. I have food, or we can always order out, eat and cry. I will always do my best to be available... you are always welcome in my home! This is an old value that has been lost to technology. A text, FaceTime call, gif or emoji is not the equivalent.

Just like my first child, I started this journey in September ( what are the odds)growing this little seed from a lasting longing, excited and a bit scared to what was coming ahead. The first trimester was a bit challenging to navigate with so many life transitions at the moment. Summer was over, my first year of homeschooling ( with no experience whatsoever), and a shoulder injury, just to name a few made things not quite smoothly. By the second trimester, my whole external world was upside down and unsure, losing a one of source of income , transportation, even food supply, fighting every single month to not lose the roof over my head was emotionally draining. But regardless of the external challenges, I was growing from inside. It was lonely and scared at times. All of this put my physical practice backward And I felt defeated . But I started learning to trust my body and my new purpose.
This journey has been transformative, to say the least, and a lot didn’t happen accordingly to what I had planned or imagined ( of course 😉)but I made it, and 9 months later I conceived this brand new life that I will be nourishing and nurturing from now on. Thank you to everyone that helped me and supported me in this journey, in my Way to become a Yogi. @ Alexander Family YMCA

You painted no Madonnas
On chapel walls in Rome;
But with a touch diviner
You lived one in your home
You wrote no lofty poems
That critics counted art;
But with nobler vision,
You lived them in your heart.
You carved no shapeless marble
To some high soul design
But with a finer sculpture
You shaped this soul of mine.
You build no great cathedrals
That centuries applaud;
But with a grace exquisite
Your life cathedraled God.
In the heavens above, the angels, whispering to one another, can find, among their burning terms of love, None só devotional as that of “Mother”.
