Great week. Trained over 150 students transitioning into their third year of medical school. Topics included IM/SC administration, IV/IO therapy, Lumbar Puncture techniques - plus each student walked away with a fresh BLS certificate. Thank you to each of our fine instructors !

We have four student slots available for our BLS course tomorrow Thursday March 19th. The class starts promptly at 5:30pm at the Swift Creek Community Center (6221 Yates Mill Pond Rd, Cary, NC).

Course Fee: $55.00

Traditional course will be complete by 9pm.

Feeling confident in your BLS skills and knowledge? Challenge the BLS course! Simply arrive with your CURRENT AHA BLS card, take the written test and skills test and you are done !

Had a GREAT night yesterday evening with the Cary Area EMS Citizens Academy. VECTOR HEALTH & SAFETY staff, along with Cary EMS providers volunteered to teach the skills of CPR and AED use. Great job folks!

Never too early to start thinking about next year's Spring Break and Summer activities; or even the start of hunting season just around the corner! Vector Health & Safety, LLC will begin offering regular Wilderness First Aid courses through the Emergency Care and Safety Institute - a nationally accredited emergency care organization. This two day course is great for hunting guides and outdoors types who are routinely more than 30 minutes from 911 assistance. The two day course certifies the participant in Wilderness First Aid for $155.00. This course is available for Boy Scouts and Scout leaders for $95 and meets the BCA requirements for High Adventure camps and activities.
