A really raw feeling of “failure” going into our team retreat last week...

I’ve been in business for 4 years.
I haven’t raised a ton of money.
And TBH we haven’t grown at lightning speed.

And I caught myself thinking…
Is this why we’re not bigger??
Should we have 20 people by now?
Am I doing this wrong??

Then after our team breathwork during the retreat, our instructor looked at me and said,
“I’m so inspired by you. The way you lead. The way you’ve built this with your team.”

And my jaw basically dropped...
Because she was seeing something in me…
That I wasn’t seeing in myself.

It’s so easy to look at companies who have raised a ton of money or companies that have been around much longer than us and forget the context.

We are a multi million dollar company.
Built mostly organically.
With a lean team.

We can do it. You can too.

Deinfluencing highlight reels.

Last week was an SOS week where everything felt heavy at the same time.

Winter snow storm in Raleigh = NO GOOD. Lily was sick. Tantrums started. Emotional regulation was nonexistent. I was exhausted & overstimulated.

I’m also integrating back into my team .personal and while I am SO EXCITED to be back. I’m feeling overwhelmed there, not 1000% sure where to start.

Here’s the reality... we can have it all but it doesn’t mean it’s always EASY.

Some weeks the business is the hard part.
Some weeks the kids are the hard part.

When both hit at once, it can feel impossible to believe you’re doing anything right.

I don’t want to pretend I have it all figured out. I don’t.
I want to show up honestly and say that last week stretched me. And I also recognize that I’m a bad ass and I’m doin the thing!!!!

So you can realize that about you too. OKAY?!

MY RAW REACTION TO WINNING A award ✨😍😭

I was standing at the sink, doing dishes, feeling a little cranky, listening to a podcast asking the question so many of us quietly wrestle with.
Can we have it all?
Ambition. Motherhood. A full & present home life. A big vision. A company we are proud of.
I had been doubting myself. Wondering what I stand for as I think about this next season, this next baby, this next level. Asking myself if I can really be the woman who leads boldly, builds something massive, and still shows up fully at home.
Then my phone lit up. A notification. I won an Entrepreneurista 100 award.
ARE YOU EFFING KIDDING ME!!!!
Right there, in the middle of the ordinary, it felt like a reminder I didn’t know I needed. And maybe you need it too.
WE CAN!!!!!
Momentum doesn’t always show up with fireworks. Sometimes it meets you quietly, while you’re questioning yourself, while you’re doing the dishes, while you’re just trying to keep going.
I know this in my bones. I am the person to do this. I will build to nine figures. I will help millions of women heal their bodies and feel their best, because when you feel your best, you live your best life.

Earlier this year I listened to a podcast that had a woman talking about how she sold her company for nine figures and that if she was a mom, she didn’t believe that she could’ve done it. I was pi**ed. She wasn’t a mom, she didn’t know how motherhood can actually FUEL you and TBH I was a little triggered because maybe I felt like it could be true, that I should have scaled .personal and then had babies.......

But last week ... I enjoyed football Sunday, constantly breast fed my 4 week old daughter, went to the park with my two-year-old, spent time with family and enjoying an insane meal by my husband... we had the high sales day ever in FOUR YEARS. I knew when I set out to have children while growing .personal that part of my mission was showing moms that we CAN do it all... with the right support, the right mindset and throwing out perfection. It’s made my mission with GutPersonal even more important. That women, not just moms, get to live out their life exactly they want to... without feeling like s**t (tired, bloated, etc) or dismissed at the doctors office

I thought this weekend was the weekend.

I had a full day of intense Braxton Hicks, enough to text our doula (who lives in Denver!!) in the middle of the night like, “I think it’s happening!” As a second-time mama, I know what labor feels like — and this felt close.

Cue the anxious thoughts:
Is the house ready?
Is the business ready?
Am I emotionally ready?

Truth is, you might never feel 100% ready. But you do prepare enough, and you learn to trust that when the moment comes, you’ve effing got this girlfriend!!!!
