Our hearts were full this past Valentine's Day here at Allendale Senior Living!

Residents embraced the day of love by enjoying a concert by Tim Gysin, who serenaded our seniors with their favorite love songs. We'd also like to give a big thanks to the Life Enrichment and Dietary teams for providing a warm atmosphere with decor and handing out delicious sweets to attendees.

This Valentine’s Day, we are proud to introduce a heartfelt spotlight series celebrating the stories that make our community so special. Love Lives Here shines a light on the couples, friendships, and lifelong bonds that continue to flourish between our Allendale residents.

We invite you to learn more about Sung and Chang, who have been married for over 60 years. After meeting during a mountain climbing trip in South Korea, the Kim's have grown up together and learned about love, connection, and selflessness.

Our heartfelt thanks to Northern Highlands High School students as well as members of NHHS Leo Club who came with bright smiles, warmth and hand-crafted Valentine's Day Cards for our residents.

Our residents and staff were truly touched by this simple act of kindness. One grandmother asked if the volunteers knew her granddaughter. The girls gushed explaining they were just together and are classmates and good friends. A totally unexpected and joyful, intergenerational connection!

This visit and many other celebrations highlight a week full of love here. Tomorrow we welcome vocalist and pianist, Tim Gysin and his Valentine's Day concert.

What a fantastic day at Allendale Senior Living!

Our residents were absolutely thrilled to experience the incredible talent of The Amadeo Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, led by the amazing conductor Timothy.

From classic Hungarian Waltzes by Brahms and Tchaikovsky to heartfelt folk tunes like "Home on the Range" and "Amazing Grace," plus the beautiful Korean anthem, Arirang, it was an unforgettable performance!

A huge thank you to all the young artists and their families for making this magical event happen!

Our residents enjoyed a banquet made for champions at this year's Super Bowl Party!

Our Life Enrichment team ensured plenty of football themed decor, selfies and a multi-screen viewing of Sunday's programming. Special shout out to Chef Rudy, Wanda and the dietary team for all the incredible appetizers and football shaped cookies!
