Peer support didn’t start with programs.

For generations, Black communities have relied on mutual aid, shared experience, and collective care to support healing and recovery, especially when help wasn’t easy to find.

Meet Robert, one of the clinicians behind the care at Pathfinder Care.

Robert believes recovery starts with being treated like a human first. He meets people where they are, honors their story, and focuses on creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and supported.

Before becoming an LADC, Robert spent years in corporate work. That experience now shapes his thoughtful, organized, and steady approach to care, helping clients build changes that last.
