Pathfinder Care Will get to

01/21/2026

Like, who gave me this much time and mental clarity?

If you’re doing Dry January (or just trying to stack a few sober days), here’s your reminder:
progress can look like anything, from deep healing to finally answering that one email you’ve avoided since November.

And if this month is feeling heavy, you’re not doing it wrong. You’re doing something hard.

What’s one tiny win you’re proud of this week? 👇

Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Recovery takes community. It takes support that respects who you are and what you carry. It also takes spaces where people are met with dignity and care.

We are proud to serve the recovery community and to keep building pathways to support, connection, and stability.

Dry January.
A reset for the body.
A little honesty for the soul.

Choosing not to drink can bring up more than cravings. It can bring clarity, emotions, and moments you didn’t expect. That does not mean you are doing it wrong. It means you are paying attention.

Whether this month feels grounding, challenging, or somewhere in between, you do not have to navigate it alone.

We’re here with you this January, one day at a time.

It’s Group Tuesday!

Group days are about connection, shared experience, and support. They are a chance to show up, listen, and be reminded that you are not alone in this.

Pathfinder Care’s Intensive Outpatient Program in Saint Paul offers structured group support while still leaving space for work, family, and real life. Recovery should fit into your world, not take it over.

Yeah… we get it. 😅

Social plans can feel awkward, exhausting, or just plain unappealing when you’re navigating recovery, especially during Dry January. You’re not broken. You’re adjusting.

Recovery doesn’t mean forcing yourself into situations that don’t feel safe or supportive. It means finding what works for you, at your pace, with the right kind of support along the way.

We’re here for that. 💙

Grateful for strong community connections. 💙

Our team member Colin Cash recently met with Jay P*e, Executive Director of Minnesota Hope Dealers, to talk about shared goals around recovery support and community-based care. We’re thankful for the opportunity to build relationships that help create smoother referral pathways and better access to support for those who need it.

Collaboration like this strengthens the recovery network across our community.

Dry January has a funny way of sneaking up on you. One minute it’s “just for the month,” and the next it’s…
Honestly, I might keep this sober thing going. 😌✨

Clearer mornings, steadier energy, fewer “why did I do that?” moments. Turns out feeling better can be pretty convincing.

If this month has you noticing what’s working and what you might want more of, we’re right there with you. No pressure. No big declarations. Just taking it one day at a time and seeing how it feels.

More Dry January encouragement coming soon. 🌱🤍

The holidays can bring joy, but they can also bring pressure, old triggers, and overwhelming moments. Having a simple safety plan can help you stay grounded.

A few ways to care for yourself this week:
• Set boundaries before you go
• Take breaks when you need space
• Stay connected to someone who supports your recovery
• Bring coping tools that help you reset
• Have an exit plan, leaving early is okay

If this season feels heavier than expected, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Pathfinder Care offers outpatient and recovery support services to help you stay steady, supported, and connected during the holidays and beyond.

The holidays can be meaningful, but they can also feel overwhelming — especially if you’re in recovery. If this week brings stress, triggers, or complicated family moments, please remember you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Reach out to a peer. Check in with someone you trust. Take a quiet moment when you need one. Every step you take to care for yourself matters.

Pathfinder Care is here for you. You are supported, seen, and never alone in your journey.
