Glutes and other lower lumbar muscles above the hips support the entire back, with arms, and head included. So extra weight, sprains, strains from falls and auto accidents take a toll. Weaker muscles ensue, causing excess pain and pressure, and an off kilter spine.
Professional physiotherapists always ask if the pressure is tolerable. -yes we feel you holding your breath 🙄tell the truth.
Patients need to speak up the second it’s not.
When using elbows, the strength comes from our backs and the pressure can exceed 100 lbs if you let it -so please speak up. 💪🏽🙂

Description: I became a Certified Massage Therapist in the summer of 2001 from Clinical Touch School of Massage, a.k.a., Alpha Physical Therapy, located in Rocklin, California. I have continuously sought to refine and increase my holistic skills and became certified in Deep Tissue Massage, Stretching Without Straining and Myofascial Release. I am presently studying Rosen Method as well as taking a class on aromatherapy. I have been told by my instructors, employers and clients, my massage technique goes over and above, by not only soothing physical discomfort, but calming one's emotional stress that accompanies pain.
After an initial phone consultation I will prepare a massage customized to your specific needs. Each client's massage will be based on their physician's recommendations or the most recent phone consultation they have had with me.
My 24 years of experience has helped me in perfecting a massage that will increase circulation, relieve injured/overused muscles, release endorphins, (the body•s natural painkiller) and reduce spasms and cramping.

I began studying massage when my mother, a retired LTC Army Officer, and registered nurse, was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease several years ago. The more I studied, the more I found massage can succeed where traditional medication can't. I am very intuitive and pay great attention to detail, so not only do I focus on your words, but your non-verbal communication as well; for example, I may notice if you have limp and on what ankle...I will trace all tension that may attribute to that limp, and target all trigger points around it.

I have worked in some of the more prestigious physical therapy and chiropractic offices in the Greater Sacramento area and have references available upon request.
