Did you know your brain literally develops from back to front? 🧠

That means the areas responsible for basic functions like movement and vision mature first, while the front part (the prefrontal cortex, which handles planning, impulse control, and decision-making) is the last to fully develop.

This “back-to-front” development explains why kids and teens sometimes struggle with focus, emotional regulation, and long-term planning. Their brains are still under construction!
