Amramp ramps are built to sustain all types of weather. Our open mesh steel surface resists ice, mold, snow or any moisture collection from rain.

Despite being highly durable, steel can still rust over time. However, like those long-lasting steel fire escapes on old brick buildings, proper maintenance can keep your ramp in like-new condition for decades. To maintain its condition, we recommend:

Annual Touch-Ups: Use semi-gloss black exterior spray paint for light touch-ups as needed. We recommend Rust-Oleum brand 5-in-1 protective enamel spray.

Avoid Salt: Salt accelerates rusting, so opt for magnesium chloride deicer, which are often also marketed as ‘pet safe’. These deicers are available at your local Amramp or hardware store.

Prevent Moisture Accumulation: Avoid leaving welcome mats or other items that can trap moisture on the ramp, as this can damage the finish.

Today we would like to share a special employee spotlight from one of our team members, Marah Murphy!

“I’ve been with Amramp for 1.5 years, where I lead our marketing team and have the privilege of helping tell the story of the work we do every day. Outside of Amramp, I volunteer with the Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts as the Marketing Chair on the Board of Directors. In that role, I support the mission of helping organizations across the state create healthier, more engaged, and more supportive workplaces.
Outside of my professional life, I love to spend time with my husband, 3-year old son, and cat, Kitty Forman, and you can usually find us listening to music somewhere (not the cat, she likes to stay home). I am very passionate about live music and have been to hundreds, if not thousands of shows in my lifetime. I have a fairly extensive vinyl collection I’m constantly adding to, and love finding new resale shops I can scour for original presses.
All of these passions and experiences shape who I am, and I’m grateful to bring that energy to a company like Amramp, where the work we do has such a real impact on people and their families.”

Amramp is dedicated to Making Life Accessible as the leading provider of mobility and accessibility solutions for over 20 years, with a product range including residential and commercial modular wheelchair ramps, stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, home modifications, and more. We are proud to help those with limited mobility navigate in and around all the places where they live, work, and play.

Amramp has 50 franchise locations across the United States and Canada. Each of our locations has local residential and commercial inventory so we can accommodate your accessibility needs quickly. Many franchise team members have received the Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation from the Remodelers Council of the National Association of Home Builders in collaboration with AARP. Our accessibility experts will provide a free site assessment and a written proposal within days. Your ramp, lift, or other accessibility solution can be installed by our Amramp experts quickly and easily. Our products are also available for rent - great for short term disabilities, travel, apartments, or special events.

Amramp is an active member of the Manufacturers and Suppliers Council (MSC) of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO), and the National Association of Home Builders.
