Do you want to help bring affordable housing projects to life? We’re looking for a Development Specialist to manage multi-family housing developments from site acquisition through construction and stabilization.

What you’ll do:
• Manage affordable housing development projects
• Structure LIHTC, HUD, USDA, HOME & grant funding
• Build budgets, proformas & deal books
• Coordinate with funders, consultants & community partners
• Monitor construction budgets & timelines

What we’re looking for:
• Strong Excel and organizational skills
• Experience or interest in affordable housing development
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Willingness to travel | Valid driver’s license

NDS administers the Lead Safe Ohio Grant
locally, helping residents reduce exposure to lead in residential properties built before 1978. Eligible abatement activities include window and door replacement, siding and porch enclosure, and additional mitigation measures needed to eliminate lead hazards.

Big news, Niles! 🎉🏡 Grace Village — a brand‑new, 42‑unit senior housing community — is officially on the way!
Niles senior population is growing fast, and so many lifelong residents want to stay right here in the place they love. But affordable, high‑quality options for seniors on fixed incomes have been far too limited… until now.

Grace Village is here to help change that — bringing more opportunity, more stability, and more home to Niles’ older adults. 💚✨

A new affordable housing community for seniors ages 55 and older is coming soon to Niles. It will one day be known as the Grace Village Apartments.
