My journey…. Body, Mind Medicine
I started my personal training business in my home in 2003. The timing was perfect. Ran a few ads in the newspaper and I became swamped. I had many come for a few sessions and others who were lifers. It was a great set up and I enjoyed helping others become healthier.
But, with in a few years working with people on their fitness I felt that something more was needed to help my clients with their health, so I studied nutrition. I am now certified in Sports Performance Nutrition, Ayurvedic Nutrition, and Nutrition Therapy. Nutrition was blended in with my clients who came in for training. It was a great add-on and increased the worth of my business.
Once again after a few more years I felt that I needed to learn more to be able to help more people. So I studied a holistic style of medicine called Ayurveda. Ayurveda focuses on going to the root cause of an issue and starts the healing from there. And of course there are remedies for the symptoms of the dis-ease. Again, Ayurveda too was blended into what I was already doing. And my clients loved it. Within Ayurveda one becomes a bodywork therapist so I am a state licensed massage therapist.
To round out my education I chose to study emotions. I studied with the Institute of HeartMath. They offer clinically proven techniques to manage and lessen stress, anxiety, anger and depression.
Body, Mind Medicine. When I look up at the words I just wrote…. my journey has been 20 years of growing. I have grown from working out of a bedroom office to owning a clinic with seven other Ayurvedic Practitioners to now having a really cool office for my private practice.
What I do….. Body, Mind Medicine

Positive Lifestyle Adjustments. Create healthy habits and routines.
Emotional Resilience Training. Test yourself and learn easy to practice and clinically proven techniques to lessen the impact of emotional stress. Take down the anxiety. Chill the anger. And brighten depression.
PanchaKarma. Detoxing programs to rejuvenate the body/mind. Diet, Lifestyle, Bodywork therapies are all involved in cleansing the GI tract and the blood.
