Getting everything ready for this weekend. 💛🎉

So thankful for this amazing team helping bring my 50th celebration together. From left to right, that’s Brandon Ballard, our filmmaker and media guy, myself, and two of my wonderful students Anna and Jenesy.

And also Destiny, another one of my students who has been helping so much behind the scenes, all while caring for her brand new baby. 👶 We are so proud of her.

These girls (and Brandon) have been such a blessing, jumping in to help with planning, organizing, and making sure everything comes together. It means so much to see the next generation stepping in with such heart. ❤️

It truly takes a community, and I am so grateful for each of these people.

We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you this Saturday, March 21. 🎬🎶

I’ve been thinking about this photo a lot lately. 💛

In this picture, both of these mamas were expecting twins, preparing to welcome four babies into the world.

Now look at one of those moms with her twins all grown up! 🙌

Moments like this mean so much to me. After walking with families through pregnancy and birth, getting to see those babies years later, grown and thriving, is such a joy. ❤️

For 50 years, I’ve had the honor of being part of stories just like this. Generations of families, all connected through the moment life begins.

This Saturday, March 21, we’re gathering to celebrate those years together. 🎉 We will also be sharing a short documentary about my journey in midwifery. 🎬

There is something beautiful about the quiet moments after a baby is born. 🕊️👶

Ruth and Gerry Mead welcomed their baby in the peaceful birth suite that midwife Nora McNeill built in her own home for families to give birth in a calm and supportive environment. After the excitement of birth settles, there is time to slow down, hold your baby close, and simply be together.

One of the beautiful things about this setting is how naturally fathers can be present and supportive throughout the entire process. Moments like these often become some of the most meaningful memories a family will ever share. ❤️

For 50 years, Nora has helped welcome over 1,200 babies into the world.
This Saturday 3/21 our community will gather to celebrate her incredible legacy. 🎉

On March 21 our community is coming together to celebrate her incredible legacy. 🎉

We will also be premiering a short documentary film about Nora’s life and work that captures the heart of what she has given to so many families. 🎬❤️

This free community celebration will include live music 🎶 speakers 🎤 kids activities 🎨 bounce houses 🏰 and food trucks 🚚🍔
