On October 12th, during Breast Cancer Awareness month, BISA’s Sherri Gorbett hopes to empower women with her fashion show event in Oregon to raise awareness about breast cancer and breast implant safety. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the “Knowledge is Beautiful” Fashion Show Event is being held at General Duffy’s Waterhole 10/12 at 5pm. Tickets for the “Knowledge is Beautiful” Fashion Show Awareness Event are available for purchase at Bendticket.com. Limited seating is available, so we encourage early booking to secure your spot at this highly anticipated event.
Attendees can expect an evening filled with fun, creativity, and compassion. In addition to the fashion showcase, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction, featuring exclusive items generously donated by local businesses and supporters. All proceeds from the auction will directly benefit the advocacy work enabling BISA to continue its vital work in the community.
The charity fashion show would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors and partners. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Fashion Show sponsors, Maruces, Bella Threads, Willow Wild, and Desert Prairie, whose contributions for the fashion show have made this event a reality.
Guest models include Iyana Twenge, Mrs. Redmond 2023 and Tiffany Gidley, Mrs. Oregon American 2021. Tiffany’s platform in 2021 was cancer. Lisa Nunes is both a guest speaker and and flat model. Guest speakers also include Wendy Duncan, a breast cancer survivor and life coach, Dr. Carol Petherbridge, owner of Freedom Regenerative Medicine and Sherri Gorbett, patient advocate and board member of Breast Implant Safety Alliance (BISA.)
