This bombshell committed to our challenge and saw amazing results! More importantly she feels better and is reaping all the benefits of living a healthier lifestyle 👊🙌💥 Talk about !!

“I have struggled with my weight for all of my life- trying many diets with varying degrees of success but I always gained the weight back again. I didn't want to do the challenge and came up with many excuses as to why I couldn't; Bailey would have none of that and convinced me to at least try it.
I set out to change the way I eat- this would be a lifestyle, not a diet and I would increase my strength training with Pure Barre and make sure I moved- somehow, someway EVERY DAY. I would follow the rules knowing that I wouldn't be perfect- and that is OK- progress not perfection right? The Challenges were challenging- but the more I worked out and the better I ate- the better I felt and it has become my new addiction.
I have never felt stronger than I do now, I feel better with more energy; my sleep is improved and my food cravings are gone- this is my new lifestyle- a new me!
Thank you and and for teaching me how to prioritize my health and me.
I'll see you at the Barre😊”

We’ve officially hit the mid-way mark of 2019! If you’ve been following our journey, we’re 2 challenges down with 1 more big fall challenge to go! Mark your calendars for late September 🙌 And we’re already seeing big accomplishments from all over the country!

Now is a great time to take stock of your January goals:

It’s emotional strength and toughness. It means having the ability to recover from challenges and difficulties. It means being resilient, even in spite of major setbacks and obstacles. It’s knowing there is something inside YOU that is greater than any obstacle.

This weekend is all about celebrating dad. See below as father, ambassador, and Pure Barre co-owner, Brandon Sweeney describes his experience of fatherhood so far:

"As a lawyer, business owner and coach, I became skilled at sacrificing the present moment for the promise of a better future moment. In fact, I got a little too good at it. Goals and accomplishments became my purpose, and joy was a necessary casualty.

Becoming a dad forced me to walk instead of run, read stories instead of answering emails, make dinners instead of visiting the Wholefoods hot bar, and take long baths (with rubber Sesame Street toys) instead of quick showers. Becoming an adult is important. Goals are important. But a good life requires us to step into the mind of a child and enjoy the moment, play without a purpose, and forget, even if only for a few minutes, about tomorrow."

Let's chat Active Recovery! Struggling with activities for your active recovery days?! Consider any of the following:

◾Self-myofascial release (foam roll!)

The objective here is to avoid over-doing it and opening yourself up to injuries and/or burn out! BUT "rest days" don't = lazy couch days. Keep your body moving 7 days a week! 💪
