I want deep friendship… but I also hide.
Not physically.
Emotionally.
I keep parts of myself tucked away—
the messy parts, the overwhelmed parts, the parts that feel “too much.”
And then wonder why I still feel unknown 🦩
Maybe being known doesn’t start with finding perfect people.
Maybe it starts with slowly letting safe people see the real you.

Some days, the hardest thing an ADHD mom fights isn’t her schedule…
it’s her own thoughts.

The overthinking.
The spiraling.
The “I’m behind.”
The “I’m failing.”
The “I should be doing more.”

Meanwhile, God is steady, saying:

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Book of Joshua 1:9

That includes the messy mornings.
The forgotten appointments.
The laundry mountain.
The brain that feels loud.
The moments you’re mentally arguing with yourself in the pantry while eating a handful of crackers. 😅

You do not have to trust every thought you think.
But you can trust the God who never leaves you.

When your mind gets noisy, let His truth be louder.
When fear starts preaching, let faith answer back.

Strong doesn’t mean perfectly together.
Sometimes strong looks like:
praying anyway,
trying again,
and choosing to believe God over your own inner critic.

✨ Quiet the spiral.
✨ Feed your faith.
✨ Trust God more than your thoughts.

Barbell in one hand, Bible in the other, ADHD in full effect.

This is my daily non-negotiable.
Not because I’m disciplined all the time… but because I know what happens when I’m not.

The weights help me feel grounded in my body.
The Word helps me feel grounded in truth.
And somewhere in the middle of the chaos, the distractions, the mental tabs open… I find my focus again.

You don’t need a weekend away.
You need 20 minutes where no one is asking you for anything.

Somewhere along the way, you stopped being a person…
and became the one who remembers everything, carries everything, fixes everything.

And if you’re honest?
You don’t even know what you need anymore—you just know you’re tired.

Not just physically.
Mentally. Emotionally. Spiritually.

This is your reminder:
Loving yourself doesn’t have to be loud, expensive, or perfectly planned.

Sometimes it looks like:
☕ drinking your coffee while it’s still hot
🚶‍♀️ taking a quiet walk with God
🧺 finishing one thing instead of ten
🏋️‍♀️ moving your body because you can, not because you have to
🕊️ sitting with your feelings instead of pushing past them

Small moments.
That bring you back to yourself.

You are still in there.
Not just the mom. Not just the helper. Not just the one holding it all together.

You.

✨ Save this for the days you feel stretched thin
✨ Share it with another overwhelmed mama

Turns out…
my brain doesn’t need more pressure
it needs more R’s 😅

Rest when I’m fried
Reset when I spiral
Reps when I need discipline
Read when I need truth
…and RSnacks because let’s be honest 🍿

Some days this looks put together
most days it looks like controlled chaos + Jesus

Either way, we’re showing up 🤍

Which “R” are you needing today? 👇

I lose count of my reps…
but not my prayers 🏋️‍♀️✨

ADHD means my workout looks like:
lift, sip coffee, get distracted, talk to Jesus, repeat

Quiet time? chaotic
Gym time? also chaotic
Faith? actually pretty consistent 🙌

Turns out God doesn’t need perfect routines—
just a willing, slightly feral gym mama showing up again 😅

👇 Comment “STRONG” and I’ll send you my
faith + fitness routine for ADHD moms

This morning I made coffee, sat down to pray… and immediately remembered 19 random things I “should probably do today.”
When your mind is Loud…. God still speaks

My brain loves to sprint at 6am. 🙃
But here’s what I’m learning: God isn’t waiting for me to quiet every thought — He meets me inside of them.

1 Kings 19:12 says God wasn’t in the wind, or fire, or earthquake…
He came in a whisper.

Sometimes it’s one verse.
Sometimes it’s two squats while the coffee reheats again.
Sometimes it’s just “God, please help my mind slow down for a minute.”

Tiny prayers count. Tiny focus counts. Tiny faithfulness counts.

If your brain has 52 tabs open, and you’re already refilling your mug…

God can still speak through the noise. 🤍
You’re not too distracted for Him.

Comment ☕️ if you’re starting today with coffee + grace.
