Boundaries are not walls. They are the shape love takes through you.
These slides offer a gentle way to name a true yes and a clear no so connection can breathe. Your body will tell you when you have found the right shape. Hand to heart. Hand to belly. Breathe and ask, what level of contact nourishes me now.

Save this for later. Share it with someone who is practicing clarity with love.

If you want support with this work, I offer private sessions and classes that blend somatic practice, intuitive guidance, and grounded tools. Message me or visit Neda Heals to book.

This is a contemplation on the idea that there is the "ONE" that will complete us, or be there for us for our lifetime. I'm questioning whether that concept offers a benefit or limits our ability to connect with many sources of support and love. What do you think about this?

Expect compassion from yourself, rather than perfection.
It seems to me that whenever we expect perfection or wait to be perfect at something before we start, it sets us up to never begin or to feel ashamed once we do. Both of which limit our willingness to start anything or take steps towards our dreams. The need for perfection makes us afraid. Self-compassion makes us resilient. It allows for mistakes and makes creativity possible. When we start with compassion, life can be playful, and mistakes become an inherent part of our learning and growing. That's been an important life lesson for me. Every new beginning is a risk. Why do it? Well, because it keeps us growing and makes life interesting.

What do you think about this? How's your self-compassion? Is that an easy place for you to go, or is negative self-talk too loud a voice? LMK

Ever notice how easy it is to get lost in other people’s lives: their chaos, their expectations, their approval?

True peace comes when you return to your own center. To be in your own life is to love and give from wholeness, without abandoning yourself.

In my latest Substack blog, I share what it really means to reclaim your energy and live from your own truth.

Last week I was in Ohio visiting and working with friends, laughing late into the night, and spending time with people who reflect back the parts of me I sometimes forget: the playful, silly, human parts.

This photo was taken in a moment I felt safe, seen, and relaxed. That might not sound like a big deal, but for those of us healing early attachment wounds, feeling that way in connection is everything.

So much of my work is about learning how to feel safe in our own skin again. How to trust love. How to update the stories we absorbed as children about what we’re allowed to need, or who we have to be to be loved.

Being here reminded me that healing doesn’t just happen in sessions or practices. It happens in real life. In our bodies. In good company. In nervous systems that finally exhale.

If you’re on this path, I’m walking it too. And I’m so glad to share the journey with you.

This is what healing actually looks like.
Not always dramatic. Not always fast.
But over time, your inner world softens.
You feel less urgency.
More choice.
More peace.
That’s the work. That’s the gift.
This week’s post on The Lens of the Wounded Inner Child goes deeper into the signs that you’re healing and one shift that helps you reclaim your story.

only to realize it wasn’t just about this moment?
That’s the inner child at work … and also where your healing begins.
This week’s post is for the part of you still shaped by what you didn’t receive as a child and the part of you that’s ready to heal.

Ever catch yourself snapping, shutting down, running away, or saying “yes” when you really want to say “no”?

These are your fight, flight, freeze, or fawn responses ... and they’re your body’s way of trying to keep you safe.

But here’s the surprising part: once you can name them, you can change how you respond.

I share how in my newest From The Inside Out post → nedaheals.substack.com

Healing from trauma is not something we have to do alone. 💗
Many of us are carrying old experiences that quietly shape our lives, sometimes without even realizing it.

I’ve started a new blog series, From the Inside Out, to explore trauma, how it lives in the body, and how we can begin to free ourselves.

Part 1: Understanding Trauma is live now!
nedaheals.substack.com

In the comments, I’d love to hear:
What has supported you in your healing journey?
What questions do you have about understanding or releasing trauma?

Let’s share our experiences and support each other as we heal—from the inside out. 🌿
