Honest review time. 👇 As a hand therapist, I don’t recommend products lightly — so when I say I love the Push Med Wrist Brace Splint by , I mean it both clinically and personally.

From a clinical standpoint, the low profile design and adjustability make it easy to modify for different presentations — including the lumbrical incursion adjustment I showed in my last post. The premium moisture wicking material is a huge plus for anyone wearing it throughout the day.

I’m not into the bulk if I don’t need it. As someone who’s moving all day at the clinic and at home chasing after my daughters, this brace delivered for me.

The fit, the feel, the function — it checks all the boxes for me! If you’re dealing with wrist pain or carpal tunnel symptoms and looking for a quality brace, this is one I can stand behind. 🙌

Even hand therapists sometimes need wrist support 😅 🙋🏻‍♀️

Here’s how I shopped for mine — how to make sure you get the right size brace. has several wrist brace options. I chose to try the Push Med Wrist Brace for my occasional wrist pain and hand tingles because it looked low profile, and I was interested in the premium moisture wicking material, which would be perfect for me to use during my busy days in clinic and the never-ending demands of motherhood. After selecting my sure size, I’m excited to try it out!

Could you ever imagine after having a shoulder surgery to fix a labrum and rotator cuff tear that you’d end up with a totally extra hand problem?

It’s actually more common than you think.

Since the nerve bundle coming from the cervical spine that innervates the rest of your arm and hand passes through your axilla or armpit area, having a shoulder surgery would surely irritate how your nerves are going to be talking to your hand.

It’s been a year later and this gymnast’s hand is still twitching uncontrollably. 😭

First session: assess the shoulder ✅, address the shoulder ✅, figure out how the nerve wants to be dragged ✅.

Build from there.

If you think after a finger injury things aren’t going so well, take a look at your unaffected hand and see if yep, you were right… the finger’s still swollen, not bending or straightening right, maybe a different color!
