Recovery techniques!!! Not all facials are going to focus on "resurfacing" aka exfoliating techniques. Some facials are designed to be soothing. That's what our Recovery treatment is for!

Here are 3 of the common recovery techniques we use in most of our facials:

1. Red Light Therapy- in the first clip of this video, you can see we use the red light shield (that has combination green lights too) and the concentrated red LED & infrared handheld wand. The ultimate recovery combination!!

2. Traditional stone Gua'sha helps detox the skin when using Lymphatic Drainage techniques. Also helps calm inflammation.

3. High Frequency: utilizing neon or argan, this device is safe for most people (not for those who are pregnant or with metal implants/pacemaker). It helps the flow of circulation, kills bacteria, and calms inflammation instantly!

We do not itemize or upcharge for using different modalities. Our facials are designed to be all inclusive, so all you need to know is: what result are you trying to achieve? Based on that, we will select a Recovery, Resurfacing, or another specific type of facial. Leave the modalities up to the pros!

Resurfacing facials typically involve some kind of mechanical exfoliation to remove the outermost layer of dead skin cell build up.

In this video, you can see two different resurfacing techniques that we commonly use in our treatments:

1. Dermaplane: scrape the top layer of dead skin cells and peach fuzz off with surgical steel scalpel

2. Microdermabrasion: diamond tip vacuum technology grazes top layer of skin to expose new smooth skin

The video in between, Phototherapy, demonstrates LED light therapy, as we frequently pair this recovery technology with resurfacing facials for accelerated recovery time.

Our facials usually last more than one hour because we treat and recover in the same session. For treatments that last one hour, try our minis!!
