Our Anatomy Project aims to nurture an ongoing conversation between conceptual anatomical maps and the mystery of real bodies within the cultural and ecological systems that we inhabit. Vulvantine’s Day is a celebration of a possible world where embodied pleasure guides our relationships in life-giving systems. There are codes embedded in the shapes our bodies take. What can we learn from the intricate map of the v***a- this threshold for human life that wildly morphs through states of rest, pleasure, and birth?

Join us as we relax into the stream of eros and allow its currents to take us for a ride. Your tender hearted, pleasure seeking, still hunting animal self is invited into the conversation as we chart the innercourse of bodymind while exploring the lived terrain of eros, where love and power merge.

This is a sigil if I have ever made one. They kind of sneak up on you sometimes. I laughed wickedly when I realized what I had done.

This is my v***a celebrating Vulvantine's Day, loud and proud. I have gone around the bend about using the word v***a. I rejected it initially bc the English language gave it to me I think. How could I let those colonizers name this seat of creativity and power? Then, on second thought, I do love the association with velvet and I like the way v***a lands in my mouth. Va**na, I still have a ways to go with your sound. P***y Riot really helped me out and took this image to the next level. Thank you vaginas everywhere.

When I looked into this image I saw a baby’s head crowning in the act of birth. Cl****is and A**s as stars. Complex, layered patterns of the glorious stretch of the l***a opening and giving way to new life. Sacred Geometry is coming into my consciousness strongly these days as I go deeper into the voice of the water, encouraging us to go to the center of the center of the center... and to be gentle with ourselves.

As I write to you, I wiggle my hips against a stool in a spacious New York apartment. Altars in all directions. I am honored to be received by family here. I am hungry. I am fed. I am strong. I am ready to dig into the codes of the uterus that we began to study and invoke in our first research gathering last weekend

We are getting up to something next week. In transcontinental collaboration with the Cosmic Womb Alliance of Colombia, we bring forward our first Action Research Gathering. Wednesday eve we will weave an emergent dialog between our projects and we will take questions from the group. The following Sunday we invite you to engage with us in participatory action research and begin to create the container for our process. We will be delving into the question ‘how can we better learn and teach about human s*xuality?’ What is important to you? How can your story help to create more affirming, relational, accurate and pleasure focused materials and pedagogy?

We have two free events coming up next week. Our Anatomy Project will collaborate with Cosmic Womb Alliance to weave the wisdom of the Americas on Wednesday October, 7th. We will also introduce our Research gathering coming up on Sunday October 11th. These programs will be bilingual in Spanish and English. Both events are invitations to all gender orientations.

Let the research begin! We invite you to join us in our first online research gathering where all participants are invited into the role of researcher. We will use a world cafe inspired layout and Participatory Action Research to ask the question "How can we better learn and teach about Human Sexuality, Pleasure, and Power" We invite and celebrate all expressions of self. This gathering is n invitation to all genders, races, and abilities. Basically, let your freak flag fly. May that rainbow of flags mark the path toward the next best version of s*xual education. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It is at the core of us how we relate to these themes, how they invoke larger narratives personally and globally. Through Participatory Action Research, we are building community around the making of more accurate and affirming s*x ed materials.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In this gathering we are bringing the embodied knowledge of The Americas together. We are honored to be in a transcontinental collaboration with Cosmic Womb Alliance, Spirall, and Goddess Alchemy to produce this gathering where we will weave the wisdom of the body- researching the ways we embody intimacy, pleasure, and creation.
