A lot of people avoid training because they think their body is too broken to handle it. But here’s what we see every day at PM: your body’s not broken, you’ve just never been shown how to work WITH it instead of against it.

Pain doesn’t mean stop. It means adjust. And when you have someone who actually understands how to meet you where you are? Movement becomes possible again.

If this resonates, send us a DM. Let’s talk about how we can get you moving better this year!

It’s not always PRs, transformations, or before-and-after photos. Sometimes it’s just being able to pick up your kid without wincing, squatting down to their level and standing back up without thinking about it, or playing on the floor without worrying about how you’ll get back up.

These are the movements that matter for longevity.

Because mobility isn’t just about flexibility or range of motion. It’s about being able to move through your life without pain or limitation.

From getting down on the ground and back up with ease, carrying groceries, lifting things, bending, reaching, twisting — all the movements you do every single day.

When you can do those things without pain, without hesitation, without your body demanding all your attention? That’s progress. And that’s what we build here: strength and mobility for the long haul 💪

👉 Save this if you needed the reminder that the small wins matter.

Breaker. B-boy. Movement artist.kxfenz has been spinning, flipping, and dancing for 15+ years, but early on, he thought stretching was enough.

The game-changer? Strength and recovery. Once he added strength training in college, not only did his skills improve, but he realized proper preparation could take him to the next level... and keep him performing longer.

Performing at a high level doesn’t have to come at the cost of your body 🎭💪

In this episode, .kxfenz, breaker and physical therapist at Progressive Motion, breaks down what it truly takes to stay in the game longer. It’s not just stretching or staying “loose”, it’s building habits around strength, recovery, mobility, and smart training.

For dancers, performers, and artist athletes, this is your playbook for longevity and lasting performance.

High-functioning depression doesn’t look like the checkboxes on a clinic form.

explains that you can be eating, working, showing up, staying productive — and still be struggling.

Because high-functioning depression is the version that hides itself best.

It performs. It masks. It keeps moving so no one notices the weight underneath.

A reminder: just because someone seems “fine” doesn’t mean they’re not fighting a battle you can’t see.

This is the massage you actually need 😏

working on — breaking up adhesions, finding trigger points, and addressing the compensation patterns that build up over time. It might not feel like a spa day, but this is what actually helps you move better and recover faster.

And because she’s also Freska’s strength coach, she knows exactly how these restrictions show up in her training and what needs to be addressed to keep her moving well long-term 💪

Uncomfortable? Yeah, but when you can move freely again without compensation? Worth it 💯

Rebuilding strength isn’t linear ‼️ You’re not starting over. You’re building on what you’ve learned. Every session matters. Every rep counts.

The setbacks don’t erase the progress; they’re part of it.

Your body is adapting, learning, rebuilding — even when it doesn’t feel like it.

See how his legs are drifting? That small shift means he’s lost contact with his spine 👀

To a client, it might not feel like much. But those tiny breakdowns? They’re why certain movements never quite feel right, why pain keeps showing up in the same spots, and why generic exercises don’t stick.

To a PT trained in movement assessment, that’s a huge signal. It tells us exactly where the body is losing stability and where we need to step in 💯

This is the kind of detail that separates cookie-cutter PT from care that actually works.

For years, glorified the grind, “Team No Sleep,” 2 AM work sessions, late-night coaching, endless output. From the outside, it looked like ambition.

But every push came with a crash. And with time, she realized it wasn’t the workload… it was the unresolved pressures and personal battles she kept running from.

High performers often look the strongest, but carry the most unseen weight.

And sometimes the real work is slowing down long enough to face it.
