Rooted in the spirit of family and community, the Fish Family Fight Against Cancer, strives to make a positive impact on the lives of cancer patients, survivors, and their families throughout southern Wisconsin. Everyone’s cancer story is something they carry with them forever. We know what impact three little words, “You have cancer,” can have on your life and the lives of those around you. We have been in the hospital rooms filled with worry; we have driven the countless miles for treatments; we have felt the sweet relief of another year cancer free; and we have celebrated the lives of the ones we lost. There are tales of triumph and stories of pain, but one thing always rings true – the amazing support that floods in from every corner of your life. For the family and friends that came together to make the Fish Family Fight Against Cancer a reality, we felt it was time to say thank you to the incredible individuals in our local communities who have rallied along our many cancer journeys. We are here to lend a hand to our neighbors, their families, and friends as they begin or continue their battle with cancer.

After tallying up all the raffles and silent auction wins, steak dinners served, lane sponsors gathered, and the generous donations that continue to come in, we are honored to announced that the 26th Annual Fish Family Steak Feed & 9-Pin Bowling Tournament raised $39,500!

We were overwhelmed with all of your incredible support in so many ways and extend a huge thank you to the businesses, individuals, organizations, neighbors, and strangers who have made such an impact. Proceeds will go to support the UW Health l Carbone Cancer Center and patients and families in their cancer journey. Together, we can help end the fight against cancer. 💚💙

With gratitude and appreciation!

The support and love from the bowlers, diners, bidders, family and friends during the 25th Annual Fish Family Steak Feed & 9-Pin Bowling Tournament was incredible. Each year, the community gathers, celebrates, remembers, and donates to make the event such a special moment and support the fight against cancer. This year, we are grateful to announce that our updated total of funds raised was over $32,600!

Thank you for once again for becoming part of the Fish Family and the donations from our lane sponsors, silent auction and raffle donors, gifts from friends, family, and strangers. A special thanks to Brewster’s Lanes Sports Bar & Grill for their generosity each and every year.

Supporting research, development, advocacy, and services of UW Health l Carbone Cancer Center, funds also go to local patients and their families in their cancer journey. Thank you for everything you do to rally around us and making the event another success. We'll see you again next year!
