Summit Pediatrics

Summit Pediatrics Welcome to Summit Pediatrics! We provide routine well-child care, vaccines and sick visits. We're proud to be part of this community!

We know you! We like you! We’ve got you!
For real though, if we’re open, we can help you with most of the things your kids might get up to. And if you’re not sure, call and ask! It’s always better to be seen at your medical home if you can—your kids are more comfortable, and we know your backstory ❤️

Fun development tidbit: this baby isn't old enough yet for object permanence, which usually develops around 9 months. Object permanence is the complicated concept that something exists even if you can't see it. Which is why when her parents cover her feet with a blanket, she forgets about them and can sit up just fine! Babies are awesome.

Also on the CDC chopping block: vaccines for bacterial meningitis in older kids and teens. The new rec is for high-risk kids only. In the unlikely scenario that your kid has no spleen, they definitely need it. But what else makes you “high-risk?” Living in a place where people live close together. For pediatricians, we think dorms, summer camps, shelters.
