This is a pretty cool milestone to cross since starting my business.

When we are growing up we dream of the magical million dollar number.

Then you enter the traditional workforce and realize how difficult that is going to be (lol)…

I played safe for a long time… staying in situations that I felt I would never be able to out earn.

Grinding away and burning out for someone else’s dream, someone else’s vision…

But ultimately I was forced to figure it out myself and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.

So I don’t share this to brag (I actually contemplating sharing this at all…), but I share it in hopes you’ll read this and see what’s possible for yourself.

What can happen when you take the road less traveled.

It won’t come without risk, fear, uncertainty, doubt… but unless you embrace those things, you’re unlikely to achieve it.

It’s time to upgrade your thinking around money.

For too long we’ve been conditioned to think in ways of direct trade for time.

Selling the most precious resource we have with no way to multiply it effectively.

You left the traditional world to get away from a volume based business, why are you trying to recreate it.

Nobody’s coming to save you.

Raises don’t outpace inflation.

Reimbursements are driving clinics to either lower pay or higher volume to sustain the decline.

I was done playing the game the hard way and waiting on the system that wouldn’t change but was keeping me stuck.

Taking a leap of faith and betting on myself.

Creating a blended practice model gave me recurring revenue, flexibility, and control of my earning potential (I use the exact same model in my current business today).

If you feel capped, it’s not you… but it is time for a different approach.

Every big move comes with a dip.

The final quarter of 2021 was a crazy one for me.

I was let go from a role I thought I’d be a part of forever.

In what felt like an instant, the last 5 years of commitment and work zapped away.

What the hell was I going to do?

Yet for the first time, I felt lighter. I felt like weight was lifted off my shoulders.

I didn’t realize it at the time, but this was one of the best things to happen to me.

“With every big move, come a dip”… this was the first time I noticed this, but since then it’s become a common theme.

When you quit your job to start your business, there’s usually an income dip.

When you pivot from an in-person only model to a blended model, there might be dip...

These aren’t signs of failure, it’s just a natural rhythm.

There needs to be a contraction before an expansion.

But if you ignore this, if you just revert back to safety… you never truly expand.

Embrace the dip. It’s not the reason to stop.

It’s the sign you’re stepping into the next level.

Now you just need to become the person who can handle it.

When I first went all-in on my cash practice, I thought all my problems were solved.

$150/hr… working with my dream clients in a CrossFit gym… healthy schedule…

But it didn’t take long to realize I was right back where I started…

The same “tied to a schedule trap” that I had before… I didn’t realize that was part of my problem..

I had options though… I could work more hours and make more money.. That didn’t sound appealing..

I could charge more, but that just left me in a similar situation that would eventually cap out…

And what about when I was sick? What about vacations?

Now twice as expensive when you factor in the lost revenue.

The ceiling was real. Not because I wasn’t skilled. But because no matter how “premium” my sessions were, I was still trading time for money.

Traditional models are built on volume, they have an inherent cap. It has nothing to do with your work ethic… the internet has changed everything for business owners, so let’s leverage it.

Forget time.. You only have so much energy… and if you keep chasing new clients, you’re bound to hit a wall.

Adding a virtual offer completely changed the game for me. Being paid for outcomes instead of hours…
Creating recurring revenue, freedom to travel, flexibility to not rely on a schedule.

Want to scale your coaching or cash physio business efficiently?

This is where so many people get it wrong. All they think about is raising their rates, but never how to get more efficient with their time.

It’s no wonder they get caught up building businesses that rob them of freedom and flexibility.

You might be doing this right now… offering a “maintenance” plan at your lowest package price… that’s a decrease in effective hourly rate. Something that will never change no matter how good you get and starts to clog your schedule.
