Cash based PT is funny…
First we go down the value route that we “get you better faster”... then you realize fast is usually incomplete.
So we try to extend the lifetime of the client with more sessions, but in reality a lot of those volume accumulation sessions… could’ve been an email..
We’re kind of stuck in this in-between… because the offers that we have don’t match the problem we are solving at different phases.
Clients aren’t stuck in these cycles because of pain.
They’re stuck because they didn’t have the capacity to get back to the thing they loved.
And in-person sessions only get them so far before the value starts to wear off.
They need to be transitioned to a real plan that solves the new problem.
Not endless PT and certainly not more hands-on work.
Something that builds volume beyond the clinic walls that still gets them our guidance, but doesn’t tie us to a schedule.
I called this a Prescriptive Exercise Program.
And when I made that shift…
Outcomes got better… Revenue got more stable.
And I finally got my life back.
