February 1st marks the beginning of the 7 day Mindfulness Challenge.

Each evening I will post a simple way for you to invite Mindfulness into your following day (and alll your days😊), into your relationships, and into your life.

The first is below: Mindful Listening

I think midlife is when the universe gently places her hands upon your shoulders, pulls you close, and whispers in your ear:

What: Self-Compassion through the Lens of Mindfulness

Date: August 20, 2022

Time: 8am-3pm PST/ 10am-5pm CST/ 11am-6pm EST

Note about Breaks:

15 min. break in the morning
30 min. break for lunch (11:15-11:45am PST/ 1:15-1:45pm CST/ 2:15-2:45pm EST)

15 min. break in the afternoon

Where: ONLINE via ZOOM

Together, we will discuss what self-compassion is, why it’s so important, and ways it can be cultivated. Throughout the day we will explore various reflection exercises and Mindfulness practices as well as Meditations aimed to increase self-compassion.

The day will be 50% Workshop/50% Retreat and I am working very hard to create a day that will be informative and fun, nourishing and replenishing.

There will be time for questions/comments/sharing.

This offering is open to all interested. Please feel free to invite friends, loved ones, co-workers, anyone you might know who is in greater need of self-compassion.

This daylong exploration of Self-Compassion is completely FREE. All I ask in return is the completion of an evaluation form that will be submitted to my mentor for feedback in the teacher training program of which I am enrolled.

Because I need a minimum of 6 participants to fulfill the practicum requirements of this program, I am asking everyone to register in advance for this daylong workshop/retreat.

Invite into your awareness all the people, items, conditions, perceptions, and so forth that you grasp through attachment and the way those attachments cause suffering.

Try to invite an inner smile into your life. As you meditate, see if you can have a slight smile on your lips. Allow it to grow, feeling it in the mind/body/heart as it radiates out, permeating all your interactions.
