Featured Product of the Month ~ Pollen!

WHAT IT’S FOR: People use local pollen to treat their seasonal pollen allergies through sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT). By ingesting small amounts of pollen over time, they build up tolerance to the allergen. Many use local honey to treat their allergies, since unprocessed honey contains pollen.

HOW TO USE: Put a small pinch of pollen granules under your tongue, and let it dissolve.

CAUTION: Pollen is a known allergen. Begin with a few granules; if symptoms appear, discontinue use and consult your physician.

Featured Product of the Month ~ Creamed Honey!

WHAT IT IS: Creamed honey is finely crystallized honey.

FUN FACT: Like chocolate, creamed honey doesn’t feel gritty in the mouth because we are unable to detect crystals smaller than about 50 microns.

TIP: Warm it in the microwave for 5-10 seconds to soften if it is hard. Do not heat up creamed honey too much, or else it could melt down into its liquid state.
