🌿Detoxification should not be an afterthought. Instead of working to detoxify your body after a body burden has been created, it is essential to think of how you can optimize your day today. That way, your body can flow without toxic interruptions.

🥒When I am conscious about eating foods that are right for my genetic blueprint, my liver is optimized, and my bodily flow is open. This keeps my detoxification pathways and my mind happy and aligned. Sometimes I make informed choices and eat foods that are not my body's genetic match. Drinking my daily green juice, which matches my genetic blueprint, helps to clear my liver, minimizing those foods’ potential effects. Being proactive with my daily juice is a great strategy I deploy, as health begins with what we put in our bodies.

🍊I start my morning with cucumber and cilantro juice, adding Wild-Lytes and powdered vitamin C to enhance detox. I then head out for a run. Each morning I drink low-mold coffee with A2 milk optimized for my body. One of my favorite breakfasts is nitrate-free smoked salmon to feed my brain. I pair it with Manchego cheese and tomatoes. Yes, and yes!

🌀Are you preparing your body for flow, or are you intoxicating your body with foods or habits that are not serving you?

☝Eating to your genetic blueprint and current state of health is essential.

🌱As a starting point, start deploying body talk daily. What is your body telling you about your appearance, energy levels, and mental acuity? Getting facile with body talk can support you to be better informed about what is happening.

Take the Wild-Type quiz, which is linked in my bio, to learn more about yourself and optimize your body’s flow.

🌷Often, we may find ourselves attempting to fix things after they have already occurred, whether it is our state of mind or our body’s health. That is why it is vital to shift our mindsets to prepare our bodies for flow rather than attempting to force health or an outcome. Flow versus force is living as nature intended.

🧠Your thoughts have immense power over your physical health, mood, and state of being. Our state of mind is influenced by our thought patterns and the design changes when we rewrite the script.

🌊First, we must calm the body through our thoughts so that we are not creating patterns that harm our health. Once we have fluid information, the body knows and starts to listen. When you rewrite the script, the pattern changes in the body.

💫Over time, you can build new neurological pathways, so the body adapts and repatterns to a healthier feedback loop. Remember that the body can do what it is supposed to do when we are not sabotaging it with negative thoughts and limiting belief systems.

🌸For example, if you have a fantastic meal but get bad news, you might be unable to break down the food. Managing our thoughts and listening to our bodies is a dance that we must learn step by step. We must begin by being good listeners on both sides of the body and mind.

🧐Begin by analyzing what you put into your body, or on your body, and the thoughts you allow to enter your mind.

🤚I recommend the stop, drop, and roll method to interrupt the mental broadcast of patterns we do not want to continue, such as negative thoughts.

Stop: interrupt the broadcast.
Drop: move the energy.
Roll: into a higher frequency, using something at your ready (music, scent, read a favorite quote).

🦋If you can stop these thoughts from creating broadcast cycles in your body, you will be able to remain in your power and actualize your infinite potential. Be compassionate to yourself in this process. Remember that this will result in optimized health for the best version of yourself.

👉Rather than relying on continual detox after eating the wrong foods, putting on the wrong skin products, and using toxic cleaning agents, we should focus on finding the right foods and products that match us. This is just one way we can live in a bio-individualized nature. Living as nature intended can help to prevent what I call “retox,” which is the process of ingesting foods, chemicals, and products that are toxic to our bodies.

🤚Heavy metals are a widely talked about subject in the detox space. While it is vital to get these toxins out of our bodies, it is also essential to know how to accomplish this. Heavy metals, like iron, also like to hide in the lipid layers of our tissue, which is why it is essential to take care of our fat metabolism pathways and our livers. The toxins in the body will manifest with the following body symptoms. Signs of a backed-up liver and fat metabolism impairment include body odor, skin issues such as acne, and heavy or irregular cycles for women. For men, it could be an iron overload, discernible through blood work.

❤️You must love your liver for it to properly break down fats, manage heavy metals, and more!

🥒Cilantro and cucumber are fantastic detox facilitators for liver health. My Wild-Lytes supplement is specifically curated to support detox and liver health and can be added to any beverage.

👋You can also take the Wild Type quiz (link in bio) to find out what Wild-Type you are. This quiz can help you discern which foods may overload your body using gene-smart nutrition designed just for you.

🌿In the wellness space, we have all heard about the importance of detoxifying our bodies to get our health on track. But what does detoxification actually mean?

🧐While eating the right foods and using certain products are vital for the body to detoxify, for me, detoxification starts at the liver. In particular, the CYP450 family of enzymes is responsible for processing various toxins, pharmaceuticals, and substances in the body. Having variants in the gene expression for this class of enzymes may result in suboptimal liver detoxification pathways. The Cochrane Method supports personalized biohacking for detoxification even if our genes say otherwise.

🌱For example, the CYP2D6 polymorphism means that our liver cannot properly process turmeric. So while some in the wellness space argue that turmeric and curcumin are good for detoxification, they might actually slow your liver detox pathways if you have this gene expression. A client gained 15 lbs in 5 weeks because she was drinking 5 cups of turmeric tea daily. Yikes!! Anti-detox strategy for her, for sure!! The PON1 gene polymorphism may lead to decreased processing of multiple chemicals and pharmaceuticals.

😊Know your genes for easy breezy detox. We can help you. Here’s a summary:

Liver detox CYP family of genes:

CYP450 - Grapefruit and milk thistle slow this pathway down.
CYP2D6 - Turmeric can slow the liver detox pathways by up to 50%.
Pon1 - Chemical detox and pharmaceuticals are metabolized slower.
CYP1AP - Caffeine metabolism is impaired.

👋Now that I have your attention!

🤜Complex carbs are not the enemy. They are fantastic foods that support muscle movement and mental acuity. I define complex carbs as foods that contain soluble and insoluble fiber that is slow in converting to glucose. Examples are squash, pumpkin, non-mycotoxin beans, and certain low-sugar fruits such as papaya. Unfortunately, certain carbs can contain or be mold makers and may impact our overall health when eaten especially when there are genetic vulnerabilities.

🧐Do you know which carbs you are eating that could be affecting your mold burden? Let's look at oxalates’ and mycotoxins' potentially harmful effects on your health.

🍇Foods such as berries, beets, almonds, and black beans, contain oxalates that contribute to mycotoxin and mold formation. If you are eating these foods in a high-mold environment like the fall season and have genes sensitive to those oxalates, you can disrupt your hormones, periods, mental health, and more. Therefore, it is so important to eat for your genetic blueprint.

🤢Oxalates are chemical compounds found in plants, and for those sensitive to oxalates, they can cause health problems. Oxalate burden may lead to hormone imbalance, which disrupts serotonin and dopamine, disrupting mental health. Hydrogen sulfide can also be initiated & create mast cells and contribute to mental health issues. These hormonal imbalances also can create a histamine response, creating or triggering allergies.

😳Oxalic acids may contribute to the mold burden. Foods such as pea protein, popular shakes, and peanut butter even have the ability to make you manic because of their oxalate-rich content. Spinach & almonds are also high in oxalates.

🌽Clinically, I have observed that those with a peanut allergy also have mold sensitivities. The mold on peanuts and now on corn may lead to these severe allergies. Additionally, this can lead to mental health issues, insulin insensitivity, skin disorders, acne, and other hormonal imbalances.

🍂During this fall season, let’s be mindful. Refrain or limit foods high in oxalates and that are mycotoxin heavy. It will support keeping our vessels clean and healthy.

🗣Let's dive into the mold and hormone/endocrine connection.

🔆Hormones are the body's chemical messengers that work to support processes, including metabolism, growth, development, and mental health. Balanced hormones are essential for body balance.

🤚Did you know that mold from your environment may impact the active thyroid hormone T3, and trigger states of autoimmunity, resulting in a dysregulation of hormonal functions? From there, memory issues and anxiety may occur.

🦠Candida (what I like to call the beast yeast) is a mold that shifts the estrogen and thyroid hormones. It exacerbates estrogen levels, as candida feeds the estrogen. Then, estrogen feeds Candida further, creating a cycle where the mold keeps growing and hormones keep shifting. This may even contribute to autoimmune thyroiditis as now the mold may reactivate the Epstein Barr virus, which is linked to Hashimoto’s.

💥Now let’s talk about leptin resistance. Mold may create an insulin imbalance cascade, resulting in weight gain, acne, hot flashes, insomnia, PCOS, and increased abdominal fat.

🍄If you experience any of these symptoms, reevaluate what you eat daily. Those therapeutic mushrooms in your supplements or green drinks may be working against you.

👉Prioritize body talk and save my graphic to check in with your body.

👉Ensure that you are not eating foods that are not for you, despite being told that they are healthy and must be included in your diet. That’s the power of body talk. Take my Wild-Type quiz for more significant insights into you! Link in bio.

🍂As leaves begin to fall, mold is on the rise. In the beautiful piles of autumn leaves, mold can be hiding, ready to trigger sensitivities. Mold spores can be present in your environment and even find their way into your home, creating mold hotspots that impact your health.

🚨Mold is a structure that certain fungi form due to the development of spores that contain fungal secondary metabolites. A substance that is produced by fungi is mycotoxins, which are toxic to the body and impact intestinal integrity and the gut microbiome. This can be found in mold-heavy foods like grapes, peanuts, and fermented foods.

🍁Exposure and inhalation of mold spores are at the highest risk in the fall. It can cause memory issues and increases anxiety. Many of us may be suffering from mold allergies and are unaware. Symptoms such as fatigue, sore throat, skin rashes, body aches, and breathing problems are attributed to mold exposure. For those with Autoimmune dynamics and asthma, mold can cause flare-ups, immune suppression, and even reactivate viruses and bacterial infections.

🧠Furthermore, mold can cause shifts in mental health, including anxiety and depression, hormone health, and gut health. Therefore, knowing which foods to avoid to prevent these health effects is essential.

✨Here is a list of mold-heavy foods that I recommend staying away from during the fall:

Cantaloupe
Grapes
Corn
Peas
Green Beans
Mushrooms
Fungus
Peanuts
Peas
Sesame
Lentils
Pistachios
Brazil Nuts
Kimchi
Kombucha
Kefir
Black tea
Blue Cheese
Swiss
Brie
Honey

👊To fight the mold culprit:

Listen to your body and make a list of your symptoms.

Cut out mold-heavy foods, such as the ones listed above, and those with sensitivities should cut out mold-heavy foods until the first frost.

Embrace body talk to gauge energy, skin, and gut improvements once these foods have been removed from your diet. Tie in Wild-Lytes to support liver detox, which helps defend the body against biofilm formation, which can lead to infections.

With this knowledge, you can avoid consuming mycotoxins and protect yourself from shifts in mental health, hormone health, and gut health, as well as prevent other health issues from developing further.

Make sure you catch my next post where we dive into the impact of mold on hormones!

⏱The modern-day stressors of our lives can be overwhelming. That is why, in all seasons, I focus on how important it is to slow down and take the time to listen to your body.

✨Your body knows what it needs to heal. So, how can we become better listeners to these extraordinary vessels? I have some recommendations for those looking to change their lives from stressed to blessed.

💭How does your body react to certain foods?

If you are eating something causing your body to feel off, nauseated, bloated, or foggy-headed, this might not be right for you. What is right for you may contradict claims made by the wellness world. Instead of being stressed over your body’s misalignment, choose to be stressless. You can take my Wildtype Quiz (link in bio) to discover your Wildtype and explore gene-smart nutrition designed just for you.

🍂This season, managing stressors, prioritizing yourself, and slowing down, are trending. Just because summer is over doesn’t mean we need to stop hydrating.

💧In the summer months, it’s a lot easier to stop and replenish due to heat and libations. However, as the weather cools down in the fall, we tend to forget to stay hydrated.

🔹Your brain and body require hydration and to be supported with electrolytes year-round. These little communicators are vital to support healthy brain and cellular function. Even mild dehydration can cause mood disturbances, cramping, foggy-headedness, and anxiety. Stress and dehydration are linked. Dehydration can cause stress, and stress causes dehydration as we deplete salt and electrolytes through our adrenal glands.

🍉Adding Wild-Lytes to any liquid elevates your beverage and is a one-stop health tool for an optimal body. I created this supplement to provide hydration, electrolyte balance, mineral balance, and sugar regulation while detoxifying the body. It is made with organic cilantro, watermelon, and sea salt.

🌙Stress Mover and Wild-Lytes act as a dynamic duo to impact the results of hydration but can also promote sleep. Wild-Lytes can also be your new Night-Lyte!

The changing seasons can be a beautiful time to slow down and enjoy shorter days, paired with quality evenings with the family. On the other hand, the lounging days of summer are over and kids are back to school.

Here are some tips to prioritize your health and wellness this season:

Stay Hydrated

Dehydration can result in low energy, mood fluctuation, and decrease in cognitive function. Drinking water is essential to our bodies, but water alone is not enough! Wild-Lytes is my favorite supplement to add to water or any liquid. Not only does your water taste delicious, it provides support for immune function, electrolyte balance, and muscle cramping and fatigue.

Prioritize Sleep

The demand of the technological age may have effects on our sleep cycles. Prioritizing 8 hours of sleep each night may seem impossible, but in order to lead healthy and optimal lives we must learn how to set boundaries for sleep disrupters. Devices such as our phones, bright lights, computers or your tv produce blue light that disrupts the melatonin hormone your body produces to sleep. Set an alarm for about 2 hours before bedtime and turn off any tech devices to get a deep night’s sleep. To ensure an even more restful sleep, add my Stress Mover supplement to your nightly routine. It delivers support for stress to better help you find your balance. Make sure to take advantage of this limited-time discount.

Exercise

As the days shorten, it can be difficult to stay motivated to exercise. Even 15-30 min of exercise can increase your happiness, body functions, and overall, get your blood pumping. Try low-movement exercises such as going on a gentle walk or stretching. As movement is essential to managing stress. Don’t forget to bring your Wild-Lytes to support hydration & electrolyte balance.

When we are dealing with stress we tend to become dehydrated. By pairing Stress Mover and Wild-Lytes, you are helping to support your body and providing a foundation for whole body health.

People are often afraid of carbs, but they alone are not what will cause weight gain.

By now, you know that we need carbs as they are an essential macronutrient that gives us the energy we need throughout the day. Carbs also have many nutritional and mental health benefits and should not be restricted from our diets.

Would you believe me if I said there are ways that we can consume the suitable types and still lose weight? That’s right, carbs are not the enemy. Eating carbs is an essential macronutrient in one's overall diet and can help you lose weight.

Here are some of my favorite tips for carbs and losing weight.

1. The trick is to focus on complex carbs that will make you feel full. Try consuming more whole carbohydrates, such as vegetables, and beans. Certain seeds such as quinoa and buckwheat are actually seeds and complete proteins, but taste like grains and they also contain healthy nutrient-dense carbs. Eat less or very limited refined carbs, including bread, pastries, and pasta Sugary drinks and fast foods should be off the table completely!

2. Add in some fat! Researchers say enjoying your carb-fest with a moderate amount of monosaturated fat—like the kind you find in olive oil and avocados. These can help increase satiety and reduce overall calorie intake. If you are someone with concerns about your calorie or carb intake, I would consider counting the number of carbs you need throughout the day rather than focusing on calories.

3. Work out first. Your body uses carbs as fuel for your workout! Over the past years, research has found that carbs can help your body during long and high-intensity exercises. I love my green juice in the AM before a workout that I pair with collagen!
